Help i bought a universal remote to program my GE tv and i had it working but then someone took out the batteries and it's no longer programmed and i lost the manual and forget the code can you help please

I cant directly tell you the posible codes,since i did not see your remote control..the codes you need to enter is depending on the brands of remote control.

I need help i have a GE universal remote RC430A Date code1636 I need to program the remote to the tv but i don't have the code. Please help.

Look inside the battery compartment and check the label. There may be a version code listed on that label. The GE remotes were manufactured by Jasco and the code lists are here: http://jascoproducts.com/support/ge-universal-remote-codes . Use the correct code list for the version for your remote. Note: these codes work for remotes sold in 2006 and later. For older GE remotes that use a 3-digit code, try this site: http://www.eliztech.com/remotes/ge-new-3digit-tv-codes.php .

(the remote control codes will often be limited to TVs that were sold at least 6 months before the remote was programmed. If your TV is newer than the remote, you may need to update your universal remote.)

This is a universal remote u bought wright?Check ur tv remote owner manual follow the instructions and program in ur tv universal remote codes for ur tv universal codes.If none of the tv universal codes of ur tv model will work,return it.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote or very close compatible to the original one.

My GE Universal remote no longer works. The battery is fine but the signal is no longer working on my TV. I would like to try to reset the remote to my TV.

Hi,

Please try to programme your GE remote to your TV

Manual code entry

1.Turn on your television or other electronic component that you want to program the remote control for.

2.Hold down the "Code Search" or "Setup" button until the LED indicator light turns on.

3.Hit the button for the component that you are programming (TV,DVD VCR, etc.). The LED light should flicker and stay on.

4.Enter the 3-digit or 4-digit code that corresponds to the TV or device that you're operating.The LED light should go off if the code is valid, but will flash if it is not. Try other codes you have.

5.Try turning the television or other programmed component off to ensure that the remote works properly, once the light has gone off.

Auto configuration

1.Turn on your television or other electronic component that you want to program the remote control for.

2.Hold down the "Code Search" or "Setup" button until the LED indicator light turns on.

3.Hit the button for the component that you are programming (TV, DVD, VCR, etc.). The LED light should flicker and stay on.

4. Press and release the "Power" until the television or other component turns off while waiting at least 2 seconds between each press.

5.Press "Enter" or "Save" once the remote has effectively turned the power off. The LED light will shut off and the remote will now operate the device.

I bought a used GE TV at a resale shop. It didn't have a remote with it though. I bought a universal remote and it doesn't work for it either. The universal remote does work on another tv in the house...

i would buy an GE Universal Remote. Any GE Universal Remote will work with any GE TV's. Just like a Magnavox Universal Remote will work with Magnavox without programming it.

Trouble programming Universal Remote to a DTV Converter Box...

Not a complete solution, but, around the last page (pg. 14) of your converter box manual there are codes listed for universal remotes. I happen to have a Philips remote that is listed. My code to control my dtv box is 0354. It appears that they have all codes listed for all Radioshack model universal remotes. I would suggest getting a Radioshack remote for Your "Digital Stream" (Radioshack) dtv box...
