CMW-100 microwave does not appear to have a reset button like most microwaves. What do I do?

This is usually caused from a bad magnetron. Check the door switches first.

It is normal to have a moderate sound, but if extremely loud it indicates trouble with the magnetron, should be returned for a replacement.

When the fuse goes on a microwave, if you can't find any burned wires touching the frame, it is usually a bad capacitor... sometimes the magnetron needs replacing too.

Bad door switch, usually the top one. The switch costs < $2.00.

We changed the 20amp fuse and that was not the problem so we returned it to Macy's. If anyone knows of a reliable brand of microwave today please let us know. All the reviews on microwave ovens recently are bad.
