How do i fix my 50 inch element lcd tv has picture that is half blue and half picture

you cant
its most likely that the lcd drivers attached to the lcd is shot , its because lots of these tvs have no cooling fans so the solders become brittle. or some one hits the front of the screen an it will damage them.
its a trick to fix them if its even possible
other wise the video board has gone south from some capacitor thats dried is 2nd choice.
id not wast the money fixing it because your guess would be wrong most likely.

The speaker has become garbled. Listening is possible but difficult.

The speakers cone usually made from polyethelene or fiber can be your problem the only way to fix it is to replace it with a new speaker. Over time cones become brittle and dry out or for a better word rot or decay. This causes crackeling in your speakers sound quality. Hope this helps you out.

Is it better to replace a timing belt by mileage on it or time

As a rule mileage is the better gauge, but if the vehicle has sat unused for months at a time, then It is best to change it. If the car sits for long times, the rubber dries out and becomes "molded" to the position it is sitting in, becoming brittle and prone to breaking.

An apple which is taken out from a refrigerator and kept outside for sometime becomes wet with water

Good! Inventors are not born; but by deep thinking.

Take a small bar of ice in a vessel and heat it > It becomes water > And add some heat > Saturated heat > and some more heat > vapor > Dry water.
In reversible method of above is being used in air conditioning. With outside air condenses your cold apple becomes wet with water. Understand?

Acoustic solutions tv problems, the tv will not come off standby, its a 32'' HD ready version bought from Argos, less than a year old but I can't find the receipt. The blue light standby lights stay on...

For people who have experienced this issue in the past there are five capacitors which dry out after a number of 4 years. they are 4700uF 6.3V x 2, 2200uF 6.3V and 1000uf 16v x 3. on the power supply board of the TV. They are obvious to spot as there is a defined bulge on the top where electrolyte gasses have expanded the lids. This is normally due to low cost crappy capacitors. Capacitor life in general is about 8000 Hrs continually used, so if its running for 5 hrs per day, you can expect a minimum of 4 to 5 year out of the televisions before experiencing power supply issues. Additionally there are two diodes in the power supply with small heat-sinks attached. These devices get somewhat warm and the joints around their legs if no soldered correctly at the time of manufacture become weak and crack.

Heater fan dont work all the time on my 94 volvo 960

After some years, the the filters (made of foam) in the HVAC system can become dry-rotted. Debris from the rotted foam, as well as dust, can accumulate in various places within the system. Unfortunately, the motor housing of the blower is one place in which the dust and debris accumulate very well. To fix the problem, you have to remove the cover from the blower, and vacuum clean it. The blower is behind the glove box, on the lower right side.

A word of caution: The fan cage (which looks like a gerbil wheel) can become brittle, over the years. After cleaning out the blower motor, the blower will be able to freely spin at full speed, again. This may be too much for an old brittle fan. If your old blower can't take the force of spinning at full speed, you will hear it break apart inside its chamber. I discovered this, the hard way. After cleaning the dust and debris from my Volvo's blower motor, the blower spun at full speed and the fan broke apart. So, I had to buy and install a whole new blower.

Dle2532 lg dryer, cooling light is always on

I'll take a stab that you use dryer softener sheets. These will deposit a coating on the two metal sensor bars (about 4 inches long, very near the lint filter inside the drum) which prevents the sensor from "seeing" that the clothes are still wet, so the dryer jumps to the cool down portion of the cycle. Clean the metal bars off and it should work again. (note: the bars are not in the cycle if you choose time dry instead of using the automatic cycles)

Engine hard to start at times, also runs rough at idle

Came across a fault similar to this a few years ago and it turned out to be the wires going into the distributor had become dry and brittle due to engine heat.Excessive resistance in the wires made vehicle hard to start and caused problems when accelerating hard.
