I am assuming that the mouse is USB...... place the usb into the system go to control panel and click on new hardware and follow the instructions from there the driver should be in the OS

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When the program asks you to connect the Mouse Receiver to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Can't insert battery to the mouse

Normal 0 If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this. Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.
