SOURCE: my windsor s12 vacuum light

It sounds like a blockage in the hose or in the yolk.I believe you can remove the hose from the machine to inspect and clear it.Also check the trapdoor on the bottom of the powerhead to be sure it is clear. While you are going through the machine check under the upright filter next to the bag to see if it is clear.Good Luck-Scott

SOURCE: i have windsor s12 vaccum this one have brush up light on

The windsor Sensor brush indicator light will come on when:

  • Something stuck in the brushroller
  • Brushroller is worn and needs replacement
  • height is wrong (indicates a problem with height adjustment)
  • a bad circut board/sensor
more than likely your brushroller just needs to be replaced, very common.

SOURCE: how do you change the belt on a winsor sensor s12?

Step 1. Remove the vacuum bag housing so that you are only working with the power nozzle or the bottom portion of your Sebo, this will make it much easier to work with. Turn the vacuum upside down, and remove only the 5 screws that I have circled in red:

Step 2. After removing the screws on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner, separate the top housing from the lower agitator housing, sometimes it may take putting a flat head screw driver in between the white and grey colored housing and prying them apart.

Step 3. You now have full access to the belts on your machine. It's most likely the belt that wraps around the brush gear rather then the belt that's attached to the motor that's gone bad. I have never replaced the motor belt in 8 years of servicing Windsor vacuums.

If you have any further questions on how to replace the belt, please feel free to reply to this repair by leaving your question in the comment section, I'm always more then happy to answer any question you may have.

SOURCE: I have windsor s12 red light for bag is full is on and it's not clogged. what next

Did you change the bag? I know it is a silly question but fine dust particles such as rug fresheners can diminish the bag's useful life before they are full.

Windsor S12 vacuum handle release not working pushed up handle won't pull out anyway to fix or adjust ?

Information and spares diagrams. You would have to disassemble and find the reason, but probably a spring became unhitched.

Where is the Yoke assembly located?? I'm taking advice on a bag light but cannot find the yoke??

Be sure that you have no clogs in the system and have fresh micro and exhaust filters. If you're having issues with a persistent bag full indicator on a Sensor S12, this is usually caused by a malfunctioning bypass valve. Moisture and even very fine dust (ash, drywall etc) can infiltrate the bypass valve causing it to foul. Replacement is pretty straight forward.

How to fix sensor s12. red light for bag stays on even when vacuum bag is not full and the vacuum is clear

You most likely will need to change the Yoke assembly. There is a sensor built in that gets clogged with fine debris over time. This will take care of the problem.

I have windsor s12 red light for bag is full is on and it's not clogged. what next

Check the line going from the bottom of the vacuum to the bag, it may be clogged. A coat hanger can help you clear any jams, but be careful not to puncture the duct.

The handle release on windsor s12 won't spring into place

You likely have one of two problems. Your return spring is broken, or your axle is bent. If your axle is bent, carefully inspect your chassis to be sure that the bent axle has not cracked or otherwise damaged the chassis. I have included a parts list as well as some links to these parts for your reference. http://windsorvacuums.com/partslists/s12_PARTS.pdf 2010 Axle Spring 86146570 windsor allstar javelin 5053 Windsor Sensor Axle 86137990 allstar javelin

I have a Windsor Sensor s12 and power shuts off after 5 min. of vacuuming. I'm wondering if it's overheating of if there is some other sensor that causes it to shut off.

Your Sensor most likely has an internal heat sensor that is shutting off the motor. Some vacuums install an external heat sensor with a reset button that you must push to re-start the vacuum. If your model does not have an external reset button it is most likely a sensor inside the motor. If it is defective the motor must be replaced to solve the problem. But first make sure the overheating is not being caused by a blockage somewhere or the bag is too full. Air must pass completely through a vacuum starting at the floor where it picks up the dirt through all the canisters, filters, bags, etc. and then is exhausted from the vacuum. Any restrictions or blockage can cause the motor to over heat.
