Question about LG Cell Phones

Have a lg g6, getting error that phone wasn't charge because of moisture. My cell hasn`t been in moisture.

Has it been in the cold? If you bring a device inside from the cold, it can condensate inside the unit. This happened to my camera and before i discovered it had grown mold inside the camera, had to be completely disassembled and cleaned. If you bring any electronic thing in from the cold put it in a plastic bag until it acclimates to room temp. If it already has moisture in it you can place it in a bag of silica gel pellets for a day or two and it will extract the moisture. (some types of non-clay kitty litter are pure silica gel)

Best thing to do is take it to a dealer pref the one you bought it from.Try a new battery, if not try and charge the phone with a different charger.

if its not the battery or charger then its likely to be a phone fault.
I would either request money back or new phone.

My cell phone (just got it about 6 weeks ago) just went black....it wasn't that the batter wasn't charged I don't think....It would fade in and out over several hours and now its being charged...
If your Phone is only 6 weeks old then you are entitled to FREE WARRANTY REPLACEMENT. So before you attempt any trials it is best to check this out.
The battery must last at least for over two years in the worst case and so this can be a case for claim.

Cell Phone was washed in the washing machine
You are far better off buying a new phone. Put the old one on Craigs list - looking for a repair person - for this problem and or say you want to sell it out right and take that as a down payment.

LG "car kit" switch
Car kit mode means one of two things, first it could have a piece of lint or paper stuck in the charge port making it think there is a car kit plugged in, or second it could be that some moisture got into the port and its giving a indication that something is plugged in. From the indication you are giving sounds like some moisture got in the phone via the charge port, you can try taking phone and battery apart and let sit overnight or put in bowl of rice to remove moisture

Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped phone in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your phone because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the phone. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Leave it there (with the bag open) at least 24 hrs.

I got my phone wet a while ago but now it wont turn on and it wont charge
It could be water damaged try putting it in a bowl of rice, it will soak up any moisture that is in your phone and may fix it

My Motorola Active does not charge, the error comes up as "unable to charge" the phone turns on...its also been waterlogged...is there a way to fix it?
you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

NO THE PHONE SHOULD POWER RIGHT UP... THERE IS NO SPECIAL PROCEDURE TO GET THE PHONE TO TURN ON....... AS LONG AS THE PHONE HAS A CHARGED BATT THEN YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TURN IT ON... I WOULD SAY THAT YOU HAVE A DAMAGED PHONE AND IF AT ALL POSSIBLE I WOULD SEND IT BACK TO WHERE I GOT IT IF ITS A REFURB MOD...THANKS
