If you have purchased a new BT smart hub or an existing one, the pairing can sometimes create issues. Make sure your Smart HUB is setup properly as per the instructions of BT.

Then try to connect your Echo to the BT hub. Don't be hurry, rather do in steps. You can refer this guide on Echo Pair for more help.

If its bluetooth paired, you have to have alexa enter pairing mode.

Say, "Pair." Alexa lets you know that Echo is ready to pair. Note: To exit Bluetooth pairing mode, say, "Cancel." Open the Bluetooth settings menu on your mobile device, and select your Echo.

  1. Plug your Firestick into one of the HDMI ports on your TV. Plug the USB power cable into your Firestick and into the wall or a USB outlet on your TV (if there is one)
  2. Turn on your TV and set the INPUT device to the correct HDMI port. There should be a splash screen or setup screen on your TV at that point.
  3. Using your Firestick remote, navigate to network settings and scan for your WI-FI router, Then enter the Wi-Fi password for your router (the same one you use for your smart phone or laptop).
You should be able to fully use your Amazon Firestick, and if you have Amazon Prime, be able to access all prime and free offerings from Amazon.

You can get the Prime Video app from the Samsung Smart Hub:
  1. Press the Smart Hub button on your TV remote.
  2. Select Samsung Apps from the menu.
  3. Select Prime Video.

Trying to set up Alexa Dot and the instructions found all use a smart phone. don't have smart phone only flip. Can I set up using my Kendal Fire or my lap top & how to setup using one of my devices?
If your Kindle Fire uses Fire OS 3.0 or higher, it should work, provided the Kindle has Wi-Fi capability.

if your laptop has functional Wi-Fi, you can also use your favorite web browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Internet Explorer (10 or higher)) to set up through Amazon's Alexa page.

Amazon echo will not connect to my bt route. Turned off smart set up on router still no joy comes up with error code7:3:0:0:1 . Any idea why.
Hello Bill. You need to connedt ECHO to a WIFI Router. BT can only be connected with BT-Speakers, not to a BT-Router.

I don't think you can use a computer. I've tried. I also don't have a smart phone. I finally used my wife's smart phone to set it up. Good luck!

You may need to assign an ip address to the firestick and a Wep or WPA password that the Bt hub is requiring.
