Hello, Lorsam -

With just the one not-so-sharp image of the watch back, it is hard to tell.

I suggest you take the watch to a jeweler in your area, where they sell genuine Armani watches and ask one of the individuals working there to evaluate the watch to determine if it is a genuine Armani Emporio watch. You may have to pay the jeweler for his / her time and expertise.

Note: I had to save the image you posted and enhance it with photo software and I still could not read all the printing on the back of the watch in the image.

Read the information here regarding how to identify a genuine Armani wristwatch from a fake one;
https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-spot-verify-whether-an-Armani-watch-is-real-or-fake

One will still need to check with Armani directly regarding any serial number/s found on the watch band, on the exterior, or within the watch works to determine if the serial number/s are assigned to a genuine Emporio Armani wristwatch.

Best wishes.

Is my paolo gucci watch fake? the serial number is PG492TS

Serial numbers can be just as fake as the items themselves. Only a qualified jeweler or watchmaker can validate your question and then only if you present the item for inspection. Many people buy these items online or in non-certified auction settings and get a "great deal" on them. Most find out they have fakes. Real quality items aren't just given away 99.9 percent of the time. There are many out there just looking to scam the unwary buyer who thinks they are getting something on the cheap. You may have a real one, but no one can tell you that online via text or even with a photo. Only the real deal with a professional who knows the product can validate its authenticity.

I want to know if my watch is real or replica ! i have the code on retro : SD 38 S L 2161

Nanu.. Greetings & salutations...

The number means (ABSOLUTELY) nothing...!!
Your question required an EXPERT HOROLOGIST should be able to PUT THEIR HANDS, EYES EARS & NOSES AROUND a particular area OF THEIR expertise...

watch authentication is a deep & complex a field as
any FINE COLLECTORS field... with every immaginable variation possible... Where and who you are buying from means more than ANY NUMBER (GUARANTEED).

If you want a DECENT ANSWER you are going to have to disclose a lot of the details about the watch...
Case size, Make, Model, Movement, type, jewels, seals...
MERELY to be pointed to a PROPER expert.

Anyone going to ALL THE TROUBLE OF MIMIBING an authentic watch is not going to SUDDENLY decide to be HONEST ENOUGH to put down a number that would not also be

CONVINCINGLY AUTHENTIC...

Why WOULD THEY?

These counterfitters are ARTISTS.. really REALLY trying to decieve you... and many a serious "expert" has been gotten in the process...

Fake or real

Because the replicas are getting better and some are even using high grade ETA movements, it us best to visit your local Certified Master Horologist for authenticity verification. The model and serial numbers on the replicas make them appear to be genuine, so this is truly the best method. We provide this service for our clients regularly.

I want to buy a Cartier lighter but I want to make sure it,s real. How do I look up the serial number?

To look up the steel ligter serial number is very easy ,I specialize in buying and selling Cartier watches. I've seen fakes with all the correct marks and a serial number, but that doesn't mean they are legitimate. If the watch was registered by Cartier when it was sold or if it has been sent in to Cartier for service Cartier will be able to verify it is authentic, but be aware that if the watch was not originally sold in North America or was not registered when sold (fairly common) it can still be authentic. Some sellers offer the Cartier quartz model for sale and only state that the watch has a quartz movement, but fail to mention if it has a Cartier quartz movement. If it has a replacement movement in it the watch is technically authentic, but not original and is not worth as much as one with an original or a genuine Cartier replacement movement. The biggest mistake I've seen amateur Cartier buyers make is using the Cartier micro-script signature on the Roman numeral to verify authenticity. Indeed this is a good indicator, but not the best indicator as there were many Cartier watches produced prior to the technology required to make the micro-script possible and not all Cartier watches have Roman numerals for the dial to have the micro-script signature. Furthermore, the micro-script is not always located at the same place and if the dial has been refinished it may not appear at all. Another common problem is actually caused by language differences, i.e. "all original versus "authentic". A watch can be authentic without being all original. Unless someone has owned the watch since it was new and it has never left their sight it is impossible for them to state the watch is "all original" as a part could have been replaced at some point in time -- even without their knowledge. Your best bet is to buy from a reputable seller even if you have to pay slightly more money. -- Cartier_Specialist

How can i tell a fake from authentic?

mcdevito75 here, Best Bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area, they can authenticate your Gucci watch for you. If you can, remove the back cover of your Gucci and record any and all numbers and other info off the watches movement itself then check online at Gucci.com. If your not familiar with watches, specially Gucci an expensive watch let a small watch repair shop remove the back cover and give you all info needed to authenticate the watch.

Detecting fake orient watches

I also like to buy watches from time to time.

The fakes being made today are done very well. Naturally, they do not come near to the quality of an original one. Many of them are now made to weigh the same and feel like the real one!

The best way is to open the watch and look at the movement. If you know watch movements you should spot right away if the watch is okay or not. If there is a serial number mark it down and call or email the manufacture of the watch.

If you are buying an expensive watch and you do not know them seller very well, and you cannot inspect the watch in person, you are taking a chance!

I know of a few instances where people bought watches where they thought they were getting an excellent deal. They ended up getting a clone watch.

Take care when buying used name brand watches, collector items, antiques, or high end film cameras.
