I am parting out a Rival 1101E (no sub-model number). I have a good blade 6 7/16" diameter. Fine as is; even better if sharpened, which can be done by most knife sharpening services.

I also have a used motor for this slicer; it powers up and runs fine, but has not been stressed tested.

I also have new suction cups to replace the rubber feet on all Rival slicer models. These are different than what came on the slicers orginally; but, fit well and work even better. I have many happy users of these suction cup feet.

Can anyone describe the washer behind the blade that many slicers seem to be missing? If I know the size (thickness, inside and outside diameters) and material (felt, brass or???), I can very likely find a third-party source for replacements. According to my manual, the part is the same for 1101 and 1030 models, therefor, measurements from either model will do.

  • Larry Allin Jan 16, 2010

Blade and motor mentioned in Solution #4 are no longer available.

An idler gear, food tray, spur-clamp/food-pusher, blade-retainer & thumb screw set, and replacement rubber suction cup feet are available. email [email protected] for more information.

Food trays differ on the various sub-models; let me know the complete model designation (1101E, 1101E/1, 1101E/4, 1101E/5, 1101/4, 1101/8 use one style, 1101, 1101E/6 and 1101E/7 a different). It would be best to describe the slide rails and mounting method (springy clamp on or between rails and attached with clip) your slicer uses.

  • Larry Allin Apr 13, 2010

Idler gear and blade-retainer/thumbscrew set mentioned earlier are no longer available.

New rubber suction cup feet (set of 4) continue to be available; many happy buyers of these cups.

  • Larry Allin Aug 13, 2010

Regarding solution #6 and parts I have available: the only remaining parts I have are:

    - thickness regulator for 1101 models

    - sets of 4 NEW rubber suction cup feet that fit all of the metal Rival slicers (many other brands too); but not the folding plastic models.

  • Larry Allin Jan 30, 2011

A food tray and a thickness adjuster remain from my used/recycled parts offering.

New, rubber suction cup feet continue to be available in sets of four. I sell 50-70 sets per year so my stock is always fresh, with supple rubber.

All of the recycled parts mentioned in my comment from a year ago are gone.

New, functional replacment parts are available as follows:
Newly manufactured rubber suction cup feet, sold in sets of 4; nearly 200 sets have been sold to very happy customers.
Replacements for the thumb nut used to secure the blade; look different but work well.

email [email protected] for more information

  • Larry Allin Sep 01, 2011

I am once again parting out a Rival slicer and have some desirable part to offer. As of 9/1/11 the following parts from a 1101E/3 are available:
    -6.5" blade
    -idler gear
    -washer
    -motor screw
-motor; runs strong - plastic and chrome housing
-food grip, aka spur clamp, aka food pusher
    -thickness regulator

New, function replacements continue to be available as follow:
    - suction cup feet, in sets of four
    - thumb nut to secure blade; sorry, no blade stud, just a nut.

    [email protected]

  • Larry Allin Jan 11, 2012

I now have washers suitable for use between the blade and blade backing panel. They are not original parts; rather they are functional equivalents. Also, now have functional equivalent blade retainer nuts (not the square shaft bolt), For information on these items, replacement suction cup feet (hundreds of very happy customers) or availability of used parts, please contact me at [email protected] mailto:[email protected]

  • Larry Allin Jun 14, 2012

In addition to the new suction cup feet I offer for most Rival 1101, 1005, 1010, 1015, 1020, 1025 and 1030 slicers, I also now offer blade washers. These are friction-reducing Mylar washers that mount between blade and blade head (backing plate) and are functional replacements for Rival part number 854-023. Mailto:[email protected] for more info.

  • Larry Allin Aug 05, 2013

New this week, threaded shaft for Rival slicers 1005,1010, 1025, 1030, 1101; $25 postpaid to US and Canada. Act fast, these sell quickly.

I believe I saw your desired part at www.abtecparts.com/Rival_slicer_1101.htm. I was looking for the washer behind the blade. I found a listing there, but the washer was marked no longer available. Not the case with other parts.

I contacted Rival via email because I too need the bolt that attaches the blade to the unit, model 1101E/7. Rival responded saying this part is not available. Furthermore they could not even give me the dimensions. They did offer a 25% discount on a new slicer, but Ebay has better deals. I would take the slicer to a local auto parts store and find a bolt that works, but that might not be safe.

JATA Model CF1007, 230 V 90W Food Slicer. Type TSK-962

I require to replace the plastic gear that connects the motor spiral drive shaft, to the cutting blade gear.

The gear side that connects with the motor drive shaft is approx 42 mm diameter with 40 gears, width of this gear is 6mm, the length of the double gear is 32 - 33 mm, and the gear on the other end is 20mm diameter with 20 gears, width of the gear is 8mm.

I also have the problem of needing a part. My 1101/6 has a broken idler gear. Other than that, everything is intact. I will sell the entire unit for spare parts to someone for $25 and $ 5 to ship in the USA.

Anyone have suction cups for the rival food slicer?

Posted on Apr 05, 2012

  • Larry Allin Apr 05, 2012

If you are referring to the four rubber suction cup feet, not the single big one, then, yes. I offer a functional replacement. The cups I offer are black, not gray; but, otherwise are a direct replacement for the the screw-in rubber feet on many models of Rival slicers, grinders, choppers, etc. Email for more information; [email protected]
