Question about Frigidaire 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Range - White-on-White
The lock on my self cleaning oven door will not release!! The oven door is open and the oven is cool but the lock light is still blinking. I had accidentally hit the clean button on, but I then immediately cancelled and the door was open........Now, the lock & light will not release and I cannot shut my oven door.
Need your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This happened to me also. I don't know if it will work for you but this is what I did. I didn't want the oven light on while waiting for a repair man so I was holding the light button inside the door in and thinking how much pressure to use to keep it in and light off. I heard a click and the door released, I think it sensed the light off and then allowed the door lock to release thereby allowing the door to close. Don't know but it s aved me the price of a service call. Hold button in 30-60 seconds.
