Using Smart Switch to transfer data from phone to phone, which phone does the SIM card need to be in?
If both Galaxy are for the same mobile carrier just move the Sim card from one cell phone to another.

Just go to call settings and then call divert. check settings. Maybe all calls are diverted to voice mails. Cancell all diverts. Then you are done.

If you can make calls, then it's issue with the service provider. They probably didn't activate your txt features for your account. Call Smart Network to activate. If you can't make calls, then the issue is likely with the SIM card. You need a replacement. Either way, call Smart Network and they will provide you with a new card
