Yes the hook is the round port on the top right side of the back of the unit right above the main hook ins for power, ground, and speakers.

Hello! Since I do not know if your vehicle is equipped with the Standard or Premium System I'll give both sets of wiring...You can identify which system you have by looking at the color of the ground wire...

Red=Standard and Black/Green =Premium

Standard...Constant +12=Green/Yellow...
Switched=Yellow/Black...Ground=Red...
Illumination=Blue/Red...

Standard Speaker
FR + White
FR - Green/Orange
FL + Orange/Green
FL - Light Blue/White
RR + Orange/Red
RR - Black/White
RL + Pink/Green
RL - Pink/Blue

Premium...Only power difference is Ground=Black/Green

Premium Speaker

FR+ White/Red
FR- Brown
FL+ Green
FL- White/Orange
RR+ Purple/White
RR- Blue
RL+ Blue/Black
RL- Yellow

hi robert. if your aux jack is mounted on the front of the face then i assume you have a problem within the face, maybe a cracked pc board, a switch which has lost its "click" feel, or even dirty gold face contact pins. also make sure that none of the 8 speaker lines is touching/shorting to the ground level. lastly have all your speakers checked independantly. cheers.

Make sure you hooked up power ground and accessory. If you are connecting it just to make that it powers up, ut the yellow and red together and connect them to power at the battery. Connect the black to ground. Make sure the battery has power as well.

Stereo face plate does not turn on

Hi. Locate the connector on the rear side of the plate and clean it with soft towel (and a drop of acohol), so the contacts are shiny. Try the same on the unit. There is also usually an reset pinhole on the face of the unit when the face plate is not on it. Try to locate an press with something thin.

If your audio system has aux input then buy a compactible cable to connect your 3.5mm output oprt to the audio systems aux input. then change the audio source is Aux input in your audio system and play the audio using our ipod.

Hi again,

My apologies, missed the connection. Now I remember, must be really getting old.

Back to your concern, which fuse pls? the 15 amps for the Panasonic or the amp"s fuse.

Incidentally, even if the speaker wires were wired incorrectly, that would not cause the fuse to blow. The only way the fuse would blow is if the unit was connected with the polarity reversed, even just once. Internally, most units have a reverse protection diode and/or regulator that would short circuit itself. Thereafter even if it were wired correctly to the battery, the fuse will always blow.
