SOURCE: Onity lock ht24--In the test

Chris, The HT 24 Lock does not have a keyboard so this test is not relevant to your lock. This test feature is for an Onity lock with a numbered keypad.

Hope this helps. If you have any more problems or questions you can call me or send an email through my web site.

SOURCE: My onity lock is dead,

If it will not take any programming from the box, you may have a broken wire inside the lock.

I suggest you try one of those instant download manuals. My nephew bought one for me
when my car broke and we could fix it all by ourselves with the manual at www.reliable-store.com . This website is very good for this.
?Try it.

I hear click , but can not lock the door

Need more information. Try lifting up on the handle when you card the lock. A worn or broken clutch assembly is a common issue with older TESA/Onity HT24 locks.

Why does my onity ht24 lock not open when the handle is pushed down? it always works when the handle is lifted up but almost never when the handle is pushed down.

The lever return spring might be weak or broken. Lift the lever slightly and then push down. If it opens, that's the problem. If it still won't open, something else might be broken or badly worn. The handle is pushed down far more often than it's pulled up.

Sounds like the battery board needs replaced. If a solder point is bad, it can loose time or programming when the door slams. Sometimes it is due to corrosion from being on an exterior property. Feel free to call if you have any other questions or need the board.

I have a Onity Advance lock and the green light is flashing at a very rapid rate. The lock stays in the open position all the time and never goes to the secured position. So you can just press the handle...

I am going to guess that this lock is a common door.

The flashing green and staying unlocked indicates that this lock is in "Office Mode"

If a master key has office mode capability, and the lock program has office mode capability, the lock can be permantly unlocked by "double dipping the key". It can be put back in to regular mode by "double dipping the key" again. This will only work if the master has the "office mode" capability.

Thanks,
