Get a lawyer/legal advice. I would think they'd need to have recorded data to validate detaining him otherwise this is fast looking like abuse of power/office. No substance test, no breach of probation conditions during the probation period (this means submitting yourself as per parole agreement for testing depending on the conditions set by the courts), no penalty. End result should be an eligibility of expungement without further conditions.

You need to check the parole rules for the state you're in....if you are a convicted felon it is possible in most states

No, it is a false rumour. He was denied parole and is unlikely to ever be freed.

Congrats... What are you talking about.. what is a parole sight? You will be assigned a parole officer before you are let out,, HE or SHE WILL be your lifeline!! ..Ask questions if you do not know..or are not 100% crystal clear... DO EXACTLY as they tell you.. I'm sure you don't want to go back..!!!

Seems to me that some people would have a difficult time getting back to their parole officer after release depending on their circumstances.

Depends on state law at your location. I think you would need the consent of a parole officer.
