SOURCE: standby light flashes 3 times

A 3 flash pattern indicates that either the lamp is not seated correctly or that the lamp door is not latched properly. It can also be a fault with the switches that sense whether the lamp is seated or the door is latched. Try reseating the lamp and relatching the lamp door

SOURCE: the red standby light flashes and when the power

One of the boards (module) has a short on it, and or the power supply itself is failing.
The service center will find the fault using the process if elimination. They will replace the bad boards or modules as required to get the set working again.

I have a NAD C720BEE receiver and I'd like to get apple tv and run it through my stereo with this receiver. Can you tell me if this is possible. thanks, Letitia

Hi,
You will be able to connect the apple TV to the Nad Stereo receiver. For that check the picture bellow of the apple tv box. There is two connector named Analog Wich you can connect to the input of the Nad. You can choose Video in put of the Nad. There is a need For a stereo RCA capble to interconnect both the apple tv and The NAD receiver. I have also added the picture of the RCA cable Which you need. After making connections Power on both apple TV and NAD. In the Nad receiver select Video in by Pressing the video button on its frond pannel.
Suarly you will get the audio.
If you need any more assistance feel free to contact me By fixya. Our you can conatct me on my email address [email protected]

My C720BEE receiver is silent. Display window indicates everything is normal. But no signal is going to the speakers. No lights on front panel - indicating no connection to speakers A or B. Can anyone tell...

Please note if you are getting a clicking noise from the amp 4 seconds after switch on ( that is when the power light turns green from red ). If you are not-- it indicates an output short or failure and the protection circuit has not connected your speakers to prevent further damage.
You will have to get professional help to get it fixed.
One simple thing you can do is to disconnect all the speaker from the amp and turn it on and see if you hear the click- that would indicate that one of your speaker is damaged or shoerted, you can tryu it one by one.

Second hand NAD player worked well at test. Arrived at home no reaction when power on. Led turns first green, then orange. Doesn't react at all...

If it's the C541i version then there should be a switch on the rear of the
unit.
Flick this switch and all should be fine.
I think it's something to do with interconnecting other NAD products
why this switch is used.

I have an NAD 7250PE. I get no sound out of the speakers and no sound out of the headphone jack BUT the inputs and tape out work. Anyone have ideas on what might be the problem?

The final output stage of the amplifier section is not working. This can be cased by a power supply problem or defective output transistors to name a few possibilities. Without seeing the actua unit and taking a few measurements inside, I can't say for sure. These are decent units and have fairly common output designs. Expet a parts cost up to $50 or so for this repair. (It can be less if just the power supply area)

Nad c350 no power at all

check your output stage for bad speakers cable or bare wire of cable touch the body of amp----short circuit speaker cable----bad speaker it self------ bad input cable or defective input device .
disconnect all and check if it is ok---start to connect one by one from input to outputs------if all above failed you must contact service center for help.

Slight bump, no sound

The problem's fixed, and it was actually a very simple matter. When I bumped the receiver against the shelf (and the carpet) I must have hit the 'Speaker A' button on the front panel, causing the speakers to be de-selected and hence no sound to be heard. I realized this was the problem when I unplugged the speakers and tried them in the Speaker B slots and they worked. Then I put them back in the A section and pushed the button and voila - fixed!

NAD CI 9120 (12 Channel)

Check all your cables, not likely but just in case.
Try removing all but two. Left and Right. Does it still happen,
If you can identify the speaker channel try swapping the speaker if possible.

It sounds like one of the speakers has an issue, could be a short in a cross over or speaker coil. If true the speaker is drawing too much current and causes the protect circuit to trip.

Depending on the quality either replace the blown speaker driver or purchase new ones.

If the speaker is not the issue it could be an issue with a power amp. Best to take it in for service.
