My 19 inch sylvania tv is coming on but no picture model numberis lc195sl9 blank screen no backlights

The code is 1944 on a universal remote, but you will only be able to access basic functions, not the setup functions....you will need to find the original remote on ebay or something to get full access to the TV functions

The TV cannot support the video resolution that your PC puts out, you need to find out what the resolution the TV can do in PC mode, then set the video on your PC to that resolution.
