I bought comfort and inadvertently included it in the socket 220v. He issued a signal, then does not work. Does the device protect you from fools or do you have to buy a new one?

If the socket is double the recommended voltage , it will be fried

SOURCE: I inadvertently plugged my pc into a 110v socket

Well in fact it shouldn't do any damage... the other way round however is catastrophic. If the unit is 220 - 230 volt then 110v is under 1/2 what is required it simply won't work. But should be OK.

Sony AVR STR-DN1040 didn't support 220v and broke

in some devices bring a swich for 220 and 110, the problem is that you connected in a line of 220, and We will probably be hurt the transformer internal fuse, you have to open it to bypass it or change it after that you have to protect the device with unfoco in series just in case you have a short.

I just bought a computer speaker but it's 110v and my computer is 220v. can i plug the speaker to the computer without damaging the speakers?

Hi ,
If it says it needs a AC 110V connection , you will fry at least the sub . Don't do it ! Connect the device to an AC 220 / 110 V transformer you can find on the net or in all specialized retail shops .

New emachine

Brand new today? Stop fooling with it now! Take it back and make them give you a machine that works. If you fool with it any more, your warranty will be of no value.

Edirol UA-1EX - hearing noise on audio playback

No solution, but I had the same issue with my old laptop, I tried everything, the only thing that worked, was to use a voltage generator, set it to 19.5 V (this was what my laptop was converting to) and getting a laptop power plug and creating a connection. Because the power pack is a SMPS, it was very noisy and this noise would be transferred to the recording.

Question of my own, where did you find drivers for Windows Vista 32 bit? I can only get my UA-1EX to run as speakers, not a recording device!!! HELP!

The 110v transformer was inserted into 220v socket!

You have damaged the system beyond economical repair. There are so many components inside that have fried that it is impossible to repair. Sorry. That's what happens when you overvolt an electronic circuit.
