I have a new H200 fdn witch throws the IF error. Every thing I read says it is a gas problem, but I have had 2 other heaters one was a 250,000 btu and the other was 325,000 btu and they both worked fine. What is up with this?

Propane 100,000btu heater runs fine but has a lot of fumes, it almost burns your eyes

Go to my tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4124129-yearly_maintenance_reddy_heaters for all your answers. Your air fuel mixture is off. You need a new air filter and need to set the bleed air. For that you need special tools which you can get at the information I give at my tip. Let me know if you need anymore help.

150,000 BTU propane Reddy Heater shuts off after ignition

Is there a frost line on your LP tank, if so you may need to replace the tank with a larger tank or refill your tank. This can happen if the tank your using is too low or too small (use 100 lb tank or greater). If there is no frost line it may be an issue with the thermocouple. The manufacturer offers a service manual and owner's manuals on there site. This should assist you... www.desatech.com Thank you

Hayward heater not working

You'll never get enough gas from a 20 pound tank. Even 100# tanks struggle to evaporate enough gas to keep up with that heater.

In the mean time, what is the output pressure on your regulator?

Hayward Pool Heater is not working. Fan turns on, but that is it.

I had the exact same problem. The propane guy had to come back and put the regulator right by the heater instead of being on the tanks. Did this and boom heat. This was after 6 days of calling and calling hayward tech and service guy. Hopefully it will continue to work :/
