Go to my tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4124129-yearly_maintenance_reddy_heaters for all your answers. Your air fuel mixture is off. You need a new air filter and need to set the bleed air. For that you need special tools which you can get at the information I give at my tip. Let me know if you need anymore help.
Is there a frost line on your LP tank, if so you may need to replace the tank with a larger tank or refill your tank. This can happen if the tank your using is too low or too small (use 100 lb tank or greater). If there is no frost line it may be an issue with the thermocouple. The manufacturer offers a service manual and owner's manuals on there site. This should assist you... www.desatech.com Thank you
I had the exact same problem. The propane guy had to come back and put the regulator right by the heater instead of being on the tanks. Did this and boom heat. This was after 6 days of calling and calling hayward tech and service guy. Hopefully it will continue to work :/
