SOURCE: Wrong sim card problem with SE P910i, not P900 but pretty similar anyway

I don't have a solution, but my P910i did this immediately AFTER I did the firmware upgrade. The local repair shop refuses to look at it as the tag and internal IMEI numbers are different. I suspect it was repaired before and the tag not changed. I am still working on it and will let you know. But its xmas and Australia rolls up the sidewalks shuts off the streetlights and stops.

SOURCE: global map 5200c loading problems- navionics platinum hot maps

I had the same problem with my handheld Lowrance Hunt C. After installing the card and locking it in place, I had to slide the card "out" toward the locking mechanism. It barely moves, but worked after that. Whenever I load the card, I now slide it out and it works every time.

Make sure that the 5200c is set to read the Navionic card. You can set that under Map Data.

SOURCE: Chart details not appearing after removal.

Same problem I had. After resetting unit and checking CF on another unit, Raymarine tech. said, the reader is not working. All pins seems to be OK on first look. I opened unit by removing several screws in front, gasket and the whole chassis from the case. Simple repositioning of pushed down pins from inside into the Compact Flash corrected contact problem of reader. Since then, I never removed CF. It seemed, after several reinsertions of CF, I pushed down two pins in CF slot.

Lowrance elite 5 HDI cHart is not accurate. When I am at my dock the cursor shows I am in a cove about a mile away. I also don't know how to set the scale of the chart view.

Its not the scale,, its the settings.. are you using a Navionics card or the built in map... there is a setting to tell the unit which one you are using.. the navionics card needs to be told what section of the USA you are in. Sometimes mine decides I am in North Georgia..(never been fishing there!?).. I have to set it back to sweet home Alabama.
Hope this helps..

How do I get my lake map chip to come on

With your card in your unit follow these steps it should accomplish letting you view your map data.
push MENU twice
Highlight CHART push ENTER
Highlight CHART DATA push ENTER
Highlight LOWRANCE push ENTER.
You will note there is an option for Lowrance and Navionics, if you select Navionics you will see a distinct difference in the way the base map displays on your unit.
Hope this helps.

I need a chart card that covers south australia waters to suit a furuno gp1650f.

You need to use the navionics classic charts. Follow this link http://www.navionics.com/Charts_Classic.asp

Hi,when i switch on my lms-332c the map does not come up on the screen. If I remove and replace the map card it works perfectly. Can I fix this? regards nigel

I am guessing that the card you are using is a NAVIONICS chart? There have been some Lowrance units that were made around the same time that have had problems recognizing a Navionics chart right from power up.

Make sure the LMS-332 has the latest firmware version which can be downloaded from http://www.lowrance.com/en/Products/Marine/Full-Size-SonarGPS-Chartplotter-Combos/LMS-332C/Downloads/LMS-332C-Software-Update/

If the update doesn't help, this is going to be a compatibility problem with the LMS-332 and that particular card. You will need to replace the card or upgrade to a newer unit...but probably can just get used to removing and replacing the card when you turn the unit on.

Your chart reader may be messed up on your E-series. Contact Raymarine and inform them of the problem.

Navionics gold card & humminbird 78c2

Hi!
You NEED to have a gps lock in order for the card to show it's true potential.
Also check in the menu for a setting that says "Map detail" and change it to all available. It could be the setting is on a lesser choice (like the internal mapping and not the new sd card)
Hope this helps!

Navionics gold sd card

Make sure that you go into MAP data and select this chart as the map info. You might just be using the internal base map right now.

Can not get a program to read my navionics sd card I have windows xp

Raytech Navigator software reads navionics cards and even comes with a card reader for an sd card. It also works on windows xp. Navionics also sells PC software to view their cards.

Here's a Raytech link:
