Can I upload an audio file into the Panasonic KX-TVA?

I have professional voice over recordings for my greeting, custom messages and voicemail boxes. They are .wav files now but I can easily change them into something else. The problem is I cannot find anyway to import them into the system. The manual only gives me the option of recording the greetings from the handset. Any ideas

When we set up a Panasonic voice mail system, you have a menu that plays. Usually, there is a Company Greeting, then a Custom Greeting. They are changed from mailbox 998 option 5 then 1 or 3 depending on which greeting you want to change.

Of course, you may not have a TVA or TVx voice mail system, but I'm guessing that's what you have. In all cases, the Company greeting plays in front of the Custom greeting. By default in a TVA it's probably both greetings 1. You can log into the system and play them without changing them to verify what's where.

We have been told that there is a code blocking our ability to change voicemail messages in our phone system. We need to know how to over ride the code.

The "code" that blocks it would be the password to mailbox 998 which is the voice mail message manager. This is assuming a TVA or TVx external box and not the internal sytem. That's controlled by 39x numbers and passwords.

In addition, you have to know how the TVx voice mail system was programmed. Your installer should have given or be able to give you layout instructions and tell you how to re-record the greetings.

I have a Panasonic KX-T7433 and want to change the Auto Attendant message. How do I do this?

An auto attendant in a Panasonic brand voice mail system (TVS/TVA/TVM etc.) is controlled from the message manager's phone. It is accessed by calling 165 and dialing #6 *998

Unfortunately, your question has no hard answer. Each voice mail and auto attendant is different. For example, in TVS boxes, we use custom greetings and store day messages in 30 and night in 60. There are 100 "custom" greeting slots and 32 "company" slots in a TVS box. In the newer TVA systems, the interface is visual and custom messages get assigned sequentially. In those systems, we start with 1 day and 2 night.

So, the best answer is to find the installation instructions. If you can't, then you can step through each custom greeting for the existing one, or log into the VM system and read the database.

Panasonic kx-t7630 message service, how do i find what mail box number I am using for night mode? as i call the one i believe it is 202 and change the message and it doesnt change the message it stays the...

If it's a TVA VM, it's unlikely that anything is in 202. You would have 201 other slots to put a message in. Try listening to custom or greetings beginning with 1. In most TVA installaitons, I have most of the voicing in the first 5 or 6 slots.

How do I record or change a recorded message on the Panasonic KX-T7730?

A Panasonic 7730 phone operates on 18 different Panasonic Key Systems. There are 5 or so different ways to record a message...which one is yours?

The 7730 was first delivered with the TA-824 system. It has the ability for announcements via DISA, which was built in to the USA versions of the TA. It's recorded or changed via the master phone and PROGRAM 911.

A Panasonic TVA or TVS voice mail system does auto attendant functions. It can have both company greetings and custom service messages. Those are changed via mailbox 998, the message manager's box.

Last, the newer system also have "bulit-in" voice mail boxes. Those greetings are recorded by 722xx commands.

Trying to change the message on the lunch mode on a panasonic kx-t7630

You can mess around in the Message Manager's mailbox and search for the custom greeting that contains the Lunch menu, but your Voice Mail installer should have left you specific instructions on how to change all greetings and custom service messages. As a minimum, you might give them a call and ask for a refresher in where those recordings reside in your voice mail system.

The Voice Mail be it a TVA or TVS, has a console program and password that will let you log into it and see where everything is located. The dealer should have provided instructions and passwords for administering the system.

How do i change the voicemail greeting and on-hold information on the KX-T7633?

Know that these are two separate things. The "on-hold" audio comes from the equipment plugged into the MOH port of the phone system cabinet. I use Message Studio 3.0 and a talent from Fort Wayne to do my voice overs. We send him a script and he records the voices and we use a couple of sources for royalty-free and paid music.

The voice mail probably comes from a TVA box, about the size of a cigar box (do they still make them?) and colored the same as a TDA system (black & dark blue). The message manager makes those changes from mailbox 998 or from the maintenance console (you can import greetings from your MP3 files). An individual user customized his own greeting by logging into the box and choosing option 3(??) or 5. It's where you record your name, greetings, and set your password.

While the TVA is not a dealer only product, your Panasonic dealer can help you solve and should have explained what you're asking. Most of my customers don't want to know about greetings and names, but they still call me and ask when they have a problem. I rarely charge them.

How to change message on Panasonic KX-T7633

The "manual" is the System installation guide for your particular brand of voice mail system. If the TDA system is recent, it will be a TVA-50 or TVA-200. Look in the section under Message Manager. The recordings are either Company greetings or Custom Service menus. The person who installed the system can set it up in a number of different ways, but there is a USB port and maintenance software that runs on a windows box that lets you see visually how the system is set up. You don't need it to make voice changes, but if you don't have a clue where to look for the greetings, it would be really advisable to get the software or have someone come in and show you how it works.

Need to change the main greeting in the company voice mail

The voice mail comes from an external box to the TD phone system cabinet. If it's Panasonic branded, it could be any one of several models designed to work on the TD product. The white boxes are TVS models in the U.S. (50,80,90,100,125,225 etc) the blue/black boxes are the newer TVA models (50,200). Each VM has the abillity for at least 100 "custom" greetings and, in some cases 32 company greetings. We use specific custom menus in the TVS product, but not in the TVA product because a TVA is set up visually.

Both models record and change greetings from mailbox 998, the message manager's mailbox. Once you get there, you choose option 5 then some other number like 4 for custom greetings and change the greeting (1-100) by following the prompts. Which one and how you get there is a lot easier if you have a manual.

So, since it's beyond the scope of a free forum, and you didn't post which VM you have, either consult your installer, manual, or comment back with your VM model number and I can give you a link to a manual.
If you absolutely want to do this yourself, you will need a computer with a serial port and a terminal program to access the TVS systems, or a USB port and maintenance software for a TVA.

How do I change message played to incoming calls on a panasonic kx-t7730

Try finding out what's playing the message and change it :-)

It could be the DISA card from a TA-824, or it could be the Custom Greeting or Company message from a TVS or TVA voice mail system, or you could be talking about the "on hold" message that's plugged into the MOH port of the Panasonic system.

Once you find out, you can change a DISA message from the first extension 101 by following the programming, or from the Message Manager's mailbox (998) of the VM system, or the file recorded in the on-hold device.
