Pin 1 is Shield
Pin 2 is white
Pin 3 is Black
Pin 4 DO NOT TOUCH ANY WIRES TO IT.. ITS LIVE VOLTAGE! (mic and radio go poof if you do)

This might help as I don't have a color code for the mic. Radio pin code; 1 - Audio -2 - Shield - 3 - Receive - 4 - Sw. Wire -
5 - Transmit

Pin #1 Audio Output / White
Pin #2 Shield
Pin #3 Receive / Black
Pin #4 Common / Yellow
Pin #5 Transmit / Red

The wire colors are as follows
1.shield 2.white 3.red #4.black The pin numbers are located on the end of your mic plug


1.shield 2.audio 3.transmit 4.recieve

ALLways start with ground. Find ground on radio pin with ohm meter. EVERY thing operates off ground. Once you find ground on radio....solder your ground wire on mike cord to corresponding # on mike jack. Once you have ground on proper pin then all else is elementary......use ohm meter to see which wires are TX and RX on mike.....last wire is audio wire.

if this dose not work try moving the red wire to pin 5 and the blue wire
to pin 4

OPEN IT UP THE SHORT MAY BE WERE THE 2 POWER WIRES COME TOGETHER AS THEY ENTER THE RADIO THIS HAPPENS ALOT OR DESOLDER ONE OF THE WIRES OFF THE CIRCUIT BOARD AND CHECK FOR A SHORT ON THE WIRES AGAIN THIS WILL TELL YOU ALOT IF IT IS THE WIRES OR IF IT IS ON THE CIRCUIT BOARD GOOD LUCK

Check the mike plug to make sure that none of the wires have broke off.I would also check the mike cable with an ohm meter.
