Question about U-Line Refrigerators
SOURCE: FFA60 Hotpoint fridge/freezer Red warning light
if i read the english right, the compressor runs but the freezer fan only runs for a short time. no fan then no cooling. there is a fan stat so that the fan only runs when the evap is down to temp. this may be faulty. also on some hotpoint, the fan switches off when door opened. check door switch operating ok. this may also explain problem with fridge lamp

SOURCE: Frigidaire side by side, water leaking onto bottom of freezer
If you looked at the back section of the freezer (inside) and found ice then you need to completely defrost the fridge freezer. What you are describing is a frozen evaporator and the freezer needs airflow to work properly. If the unit starts behaving normally after defrosting then you need to monitor it closely as they will normally start playing up again after 2-3 weeks. If it does fail again then you probably have a defrost problem normally the defrost heater but can also be the defrost timer o defrost sensor. If it fails to reach temp then I would suggest contacting a decent repair guy who should be able to diagnose which one within a reasonable time. I would recommend defrosting first though because the same symptoms can happen when a door is left ajar. Hope the above is of some help.

SOURCE: Water Pooling and freezing on floor of freezer
most likely you have a frozen drain in the freezer section so that whne your refrig defrosts the water runs out into the freezer compartment instead of the drain pan underneath. the fix is to flush the drain with warm water to clear the obstruction. the drain can be reached either by removing the cover in the freezer area or by back flushing the line from beneath the refrig.

SOURCE: water leaking to bottom of freezer
ok you have a blocked freezer drain. The best thing to use to clear this is 'curtain wire (the plastic coated wire you use to hold up net curtains). Ok you need to find the drain hole in the "small tray on the back wall inside that fills and freezes and then the water is overflowing at this point to the bottom of freezer" you want to gentley feed the curtain wire down the hole untill the water drains down there. If you can't get the wire down you may need to turn the unit off to defrost as it could be frozen solid with ice. cheers
