SOURCE: hi, i need to know

The Bluetooth device that your Droid 2 is scanning for must be in "Discoverable" mode:
1. (If not already off) Turn it off by pressing and holding the call control button. Hold it until the indicator glows red and emits a sound.
2. Now press and hold the call control button for five seconds until the light begins blinking red and blue, then release the call button.
3. You may now rescan for your Explorer 232 on your Droid 2 and Select it when it shows.
4. Enter "0000" as the passkey if you are prompted for one.

Bluetooth in car not recognizing Droid 2 any more - worked fine but now does not

your limit would have crossed
there are a particular no of devices that could be paired
Pair your Verizon Motorola Droid 2 smartphone with a Bluetooth device using these steps:
1. From the Home screen tap Menu > Settings app.
2. Tap Wireless & networks.
3. Tap Bluetooth settings.
4. Ensure that Bluetooth is checked.
5. Turn the Bluetooth device on and set it to discoverable if required.
6. Tap Scan for devices.
7. The Droid 2 should locate any devices in the area. You may need to enter a password. Most devices have a password of 0000 (four zeros).
The Bluetooth indicator should now show in the notification area. This indicates you are paired successfully.

I just powered on my Droid 2, but it isn't loading correctly. It has been on for over half an hour, but the screen is still showing just the droid "red eye" thingy. What do I do?

Sounds like its bricked. You can try to do a factory reset. 1. Turn Droid 2 Off by pulling battery.

2. Press 'X' on the physical keyboard and then Press and HOLD Power button until the Exclamation Point/Android picture shows(after motorola symbol).

3. To access menu options Press the "Search" button depicted by the Magnifying glass on the Keyboard and the menu items will show up.

4. Use the Volume Down key and select the "wipe data/factory reset "option with the Camera button all on side.

5. After thats finished, reboot the phone

My ringer on my motorola droid will not ring how can i fix it? The vibrate works. When i turn the volume up it shows the volume is all the way up but still nothing when somebody calls me.

HI, You will need to unscrew the phone, and locate where the ringer is inside the phone. Is usually round in shape. Remove the old one inside and replace it with the new one.

I would advice, you phone is a little bit technical, if you don't have the experience to unscrew, please contact a technician for help, in other to prevent further damage.

Take care.

Hands free phone stopped working

When I had this problem, I just held down the reset button on the face underneath the volume knob (look in the manual if you can't find it).  It erased all of my visualization preferences, date, and time settings, but kept everything else and now my bluetooth works again.  I hope this isn't something that happens often, cause it will get annoying to constantly be resetting the date/time and other stuff.
