Hello

Pls Service the LCD Panels of the Projector, Also check the Fly-Eye lens, just next to Lamp unit. This will solve your problem. if it's not then the only solution is Replacement of LCD Panels, But Must check or replace the external RGB Cable first befor doing all this exercise.

SOURCE: NEC VT 595 wont turn on. Just red blinking light

I had this same problem with 2 NEC VT595 projectors. My problem was that there was a broken "tab" on the lamp cover (the plastic cover that slides in place over the lamp) that is supposed to depress a switch which insures the lamp cover is in place before operating the projector. The tab was broken in half and not making the connection there for causing the blinking status light (.5 sec on, 2.5 sec off) indicating a lamp housing or cover error.

What is the purpose of the coolong pump? What sort malfunction could occur due to that?

This system uses a cooling pump, to pump high pressure / high velocity air around the lamp dramatically improving cooling efficiency.
With this new cooling system, the body can be further reduced in size compared with ordinary projectors that use a single cooling fan.

If the cooling pump fails then the lamp will overheat and shut down
