I have an RCA CRT TV, 19", Model #F19426. Lately the video contrast (or brightness) keeps changing. There is no regularity to it - sometimes it stays either brightness for a long time and sometimes it keeps changing rapidly (flickering). Sometimes if I bang on the case or wiggle the cable input connector, it will temporarily revert to the original contrast. The audio is not affected.

you need to remove main ckt, (m.board) some part need to re solder specially in hot area. (lost contact i one of the flickering problem you encountered.

During a recent move the remote was lost. I have the 6420FF in my son's room and trying to set up dvd and wi console set up, but cannot adjust tv via menu button on tv. Is there any way to set-up game system and/or dvd without remote?
