You failed to give a model# so I can refer to what refrigerator you have.
Some will have a green light on it,some will not. Some have an on/off switch, some do not.. And some need to be turned on from the controls/user interface.
There is usually a fusible link wired in with the heater but it would have to stay open in order to trip it so I doubt this is your issue.
First, I would see how to turn it on. (Most side by sides have a rocker switch on the icemaker and typically have a green light.. Top freezer's are usually the same. Bottom freezer's with the icemaker in the freezer usually have no light on the icemaker but do have a rocker switch ((( Note *** Some, but not many are wired through the light switch so trying to cycle with the door open will not work.. You need to close the light switch either mechanically or with a magnet if it a magnetic switch)))... Bottom freezer French doors can have an on/off switch, typically no green light,or no on/off switch and needs to be turned on by the controls.
Pleas give more info if you need more help as there are probably 1000 variations of a 795 elite refrigerator as it has been produced for roughly 14 years now.
795.70339.410 ice mkr is on. will not manually cycle
This model has the on/off switch and a little square manual button on the bottom. The part# I came up with should be AEQ73110210 for the correct icemaker. I would make sure that you screwed the optics down as square as you could get them and then take the left hinge cover off and make sure the harness's are firmly plugged in.
I have found that if the doors were removed when it was installed that sometimes they will not click the harness all the way in and it becomes loose over time.
doors not removed when installed. is there a schematic for power? power switch on, and manual cycle button does nothing.
Lg's are very bad about putting a diagram anywhere on it.I checked the LG site and the Sears site with no luck.. What you can do,is remove the cover for the main board (looks like the top of your fridge) and it will tell you where all the wires go on the board. You may need a magnifying glass!
I would still check the harness under the door hinge cover.. It sounds like it has no power

Have you made sure your water supply was good and a good steady flow of water is flowing in to the back orf the fridge?/ If you have then theres a small micro switch that opens a water valve at the proper moment of the cycle of the ice maker. This switch is inside the icemaker up against a small cam being driven by a small motor. The switch activates a small valve that lets the water flow into the ice maker.if the water flow is good its the switch or the valve. Good luck

ther is no ice comming out, it suddenly stopped. Kenmore Elite I dont know whats wrong with it I know that water may not be getting into it but how do I solve this problem
SOURCE: Kenmore Elite - Interior water dispenser stopped working
Frozen water tank, some of these had an insulation kit that will prevent this from happening. Make sure you have water coming out of valve to tank, if so it will probley be a frozen tank. Make sure fridge is on factory settings. If it doesnt thaw out, check into the frozen tank kit...

check for a child lockout button it will look like a tiny padlock ,press and hold for 3 sec.(could be the freezer door light switch)
