605 does not support ARC. My old 807 doesn't support either. My Rz800 does.

well most dvd aint 7.1 are using dolby digital cable in digital mode ect on sterio set output on ps3 audio setting to digital

tryed that still not working been told that the player will not send bitstream audio only to the receiver there for it decodes the signal on board the blu ray player so the tru hd light does not light up.

My ONKYO has a good picture but there is know sound .

Must be DSP problem no matter what model it is. TX-SR/NR OR even RZ Series.

(1)If old model TX-SR/NR, you should replace the BGA DSP Q3001 "D830K013A/BZKB" TO "D830K013DZKB"IF DZKB get damaged, replace it with same DSP Chip-DZKB.
(2)For Tx-SR series, the DSP Q201 TMS320D788E001B SHOULD BE replaced with same model.
(3)For new model, RZ series the DSP Q3404 CS49844 should be replaced with same model.
(4)Crystal marked X201/3001/3404 should be replacd.

My onkyo tx-sr 605 switches itself off every time surround sound gets lound with volume around 60. This doesn't seem to happen with sterio. Any advice ?

How do I hook up my blue tooth headphones to my onkyo SR 605

You cannot rig up a blue tooth headphones to this receiver with out a blue tooth transmitter ( the Onkyo does not have one built in ). If you have a transmitter it can be plugged into the headphone out socket of the Onkyo ( in front ), just remember that it will cut out the sound from all your speakers when you insert the headphone jack . The advantage though with this connection is you can control the headphone volume using the Onkyo remote.
