In order to change the date on your Fitbit it must first be in sync with the app. Then in the settings adjust the time zone. You can toggle on and off to confirm update.
You set the date and time from the Fitbit App or Fitbit Connect when you setup or sync the fitness band with the computer/tablet. Open the Fitbit Dashboard and then tap (or click) the Account icon. Enter the Advanced Settings menu and check the Time Zone section. If needed, turn off the Automatic option and manually set the current time zone. The Alta will display the date and time based on the time on your computer/tablet when you synced the devices. See https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1176/?q=set+date+amd+time&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=2 . This is the "How do I change the time on my Fitbit device" FAQ.
