HELP Can't find manual or remote for 232T Olevia

its hard to find a remote that will work an olevia , since this brand is new and alot of manf. that make universal remotes have not updated there system..

This company called Amergence Technology sells the Olevia Remote and will control any olevia television.

there is no code for olevia.....(olevia, vizio and dynex are really new) All universals are not yet ready for theses new flat panels.............but you can use olevias remote (rc-ltu) it controls five units (cable box, olevia tv, pioneer laser disc and toshiba dvd plus a vcr if i had one)

You would need to press Fn + F? keys on your laptop to enable the S-Video output and therefore viewable on the Olevia 232T. The F? key would be dependent on the make & model of the laptop. Normally, it is one of the F keys and would often have a small monitor icon below the number.

In some instances, it maybe necessary to lower the Screen Resolution of the laptop computer's display (and probably the Screen Refresh Rate too) for the Olevia 232T to be able to display it. Additionally, the message "No Signal" does not only refer to the absence of a signal but more correctly due to the absence of a usable signal. At this point, the output of the computer through the S-video may be there but would be too high for the TV. To my knowledge, the Olevia 232T can display maximum screen resolution of 1366 x 768 but you may want to try first 1280x720 or even lower. You of course can eventually increase as may be allowable.

Go to Best Buy and buy the DirectTV Universal Remote Control Model RC64 ($20). It will control both the Satellite Receiver and the Olevia TV (Everything on the Olevia except the A-B-C-D Guide buttons). The Remote Control User Guide lists the control codes, four for the Olevia. The codes are:

Satellite Receiver: 00392

Olevia 235-T12: 11610 (last of the four codes listed for Olevia)

Have Olevia 237T with same problem. Bought Universal URC-R6 remote control. Works for TV, cable box and audio system as well. $20 at BestBuy.

Best codes would be: 11331,11144,11610 or 11240 Also depends on what universal remote you are trying to program.
