Using a 4gb scandisk in your samsung g600 will work but it will slow down the all the functions of the phone or it might hang or freeze the phone. I will advice you to use a 1gb scan disk memory card as recommended by samsung which will be perfect for it or at most use a 2gb scan disk. Take care
do you have a SD card reader for the computer? if not, getting one is a good idea. you can try putting the card into your computer to copy your pictures into your computer before formatting. And if you get the card reader from best buy. if this doesn't work you can always return it.
Firstly, ensure that the memory card is correctly slotted in fully until you hear a faint click. [the card can be removed by simply pressing/clicking it back out again]. the memory card icon should appear at the very top of the phone's screen.
In the event that you have done that, to save files to the memory card, go to:
Menu;
Settings;
Memory Settings;
Default Memory;
Then select which items you wish to be saved to the memory card in future;
For example, select 'Camera', then scroll down to and select 'memory card', and press save.
Do this for each form of media, from the 'default memory' list, that you wish to save to the memory card.
i) remeber u must have kept any password to micro sd card when the card was in samsung mobile g600 and keeping password to the micro sd card will prevent it from using in other device or even in other mobile phone
ii) so you have remove the password of micro sd card by keeping the card in tsamsung mobile g600 and use the option remove password(the way u kept password or by clicking 'option' when u highlight ur memory card)
In my experience, every mp3 player/photo frame/etc with a card reader has a MAXIMUM memory limit for the type of card that it can read. It is possible that the Sansa player can only read 2GB Micro SD cards or smaller - and thisi nformation may not have been available when they printed the manual. If you have followed all instructions, and it still will not read the card, try switching to a 2GB Micro SD card.
