SOURCE: I HAVE VIZIO 70 MODEL E701i-A3 TV WAS ON SCREEN WENT BLACK I PRESS A BUTTON ON THE REMOTE AND THE SOUND WENT OFF. AFTER THAT THE TV WOULD NOT RESPOND AT ALL.

Try a hard reset to this set, and check. If it do not help you, contact any service technician.
There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset; and the other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

SOURCE: I got a vizio E701I-A3 an it doesnt show a picture when it powers on,but it does light up . I replaced the main board an t con board on it already.

Probably a bad panel. Those vizios are terrible. I worked on a 55" that was 9 months old with the same problem. replaced all the boards, ended up having a bad panel. See if you have voltage on the wires going to the panel. if so, its most likely bad

The backlight on my Vizio E601i-A3 is not coming on. How can I tell whether it is the power board or the LEDs themselves?

Vizio had a recall on this model TV resulting from the issue your having, below is a link to the recall. What they said was recently Vizio put up a special bulletin on its website stating a number of its 60-inch E601i-A3 and 70-inch E701i-A3 HDTVs may lose the picture (but maintain audio) due to a bad "chip assembly". The "chip assembly" is actually in the main board, Ive fixed a number of this model TV's by replacing the main however Ive also seen the lamps fail as well so its kind of a guessing game as far as where the issue is at unless you have some high end test gear to troubleshoot the set.

What's my next step in diagnosing my Vizio LCD TV picture issue?

Hi Tim,
If all the boards you replaced were good and working, the only thing remains is the panel if the backlights are on. Please see that the LVDS cable is carrying voltage to the Tcon board.
Good luck.

I have LED Vizio TV, it has sound and back light but no picture, how do I fix?

The fault you refer here is normally caused by T'Con board itself. Please check all the voltages comes to that board, from its main power regulator board. Refer some schematic diagrams related to the wiring and voltages of T'Con board. Will get some idea about it. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
If all the voltages to it is correct, and still no video, the display panel should be checked.
