Connect yamaha 2700 to network, use Windows media player 11. Once you connect, go to WMP 11 Library, Media Sharing and allow the "Unknown Device" (yamaha) to share media. It is a little finicky, it will see your folders, but it it will only play some MP3's depending on what bit rate they were recorded.

SOURCE: Is it possible to connect my PC to my outdoor
There are a couple of ways to go about this. The first would be to locate a similar computer speaker system set up outside - provide power and extend the cable to them - if not too far. When you want to listen to the outside speakers, plug the cable into the headphone jack of the computer. Adjust volume and enjoy.
Another way, would be to buy (or build from kit form) a low power FM transmitter. These devices are available in mono & stereo types and will play over all FM radios and stereos in a 50 to 300+ foot radius (depending on antenna, wall construction, transmitter power, etc.) when they are tuned to the transmitter frequency. These can be found for under $100 or built for as little as $30 or so. The upside to this method is that the music is available over ALL radios nearby.
Still another way is a wireless speaker system. This works like the FM transmitter, but will only work on these particular speakers. These will require power only - but some will work from internal batteries as well as AC power. The system includes a small transmitter, power cord & cable to plug into a headphone jack - all for use at the computer, and two speakers - each with a power cord as well and possibly a remote control.
Use of a spare pair of old stereo speakers will probably not work as the computer's sound card rarely develops more than a watt or two - and most home speakers require 10 or more watts to be driven properly.

The easiest way is to use a 1/8" stereo to dual RCA cord and connect the output of the sound card to an AUX input on the receiver. These cables are readily available and cheap. You shoul dhave 3 mini jacks on the back of the computer related to the sound card setup.
1) Audio input mic
2) Audio input line
3) Audio output line
Connect the receiver to the audio output line jack.
