We have not sent anything. Fixya does not supply goods or services, only free advice. Please contact the actual supplier of the goods - their details are probably on the invoice or shipping note.

SOURCE: mounting a teleconverter on a minolta camera

AS you have found out, the Maxxum AF mount and the MD mounts are much different. They do make tele-converters that allow the use of MD (non-AF) lenses on a Maxxum series camera. You would still need another adapter to make the MD Tamron converter work,

SOURCE: lens adaptor

The good news is that it is possible to get the camera to operate with the lens & adapter :-)

The bad news is that you'll only be able to use it in manual mode :-(

To get the camera(s) to actually fire, you will need to change some settings.

For the Maxxum 7:

Go to Custom settings (No.16) and change to 'Lock Off'.

For Maxxum 7D

Go to the settings menu (purple cog icon) and then to sub-menu 3. Change Shutter lock to Off.

With the camera set to Manual mode, you can still use the built-in meter. Half-press the shutter button and you will see a metering scale appear in the viewfinder. This will indicate whether the shutter/aperture setting you've selected will over/under-expose the image. Adjust your settings until the indicator bar is over the zero.

Hope this helps,

Matt.

PS. Even if you could somehow modify the adapter, the lens won't have the necessary electrical and mechanical coupling for the cameras to control it in an automatic mode.

SOURCE: Sony NEX-3 - I can't

Hi there, If you haven't already done so... Try connecting to a different USB port, or on a different computer. I noticed on my brothers computer, that when I use one USB port - doesn't work, but the other one does (probably something faulty inside on one of them). Also can try connecting using another different cord...
Hope you can get connected... ****.

HOW TO PUT Fotodiox 49mm Filter Thread Macro Reverse Mount Adapter Ring for Sony E-series

The ring threads onto the front of any lens with a 49mm filter thread, just like a filter. The front of the lens then fits onto a camera body, effectively mounting the lens "backwards" or reversed. With most lenses, this allows the lens to focus very close, for close-up or "macro" photography.

My sony nex 7 do not see the mounted lansbaby composer pro

The Lensbaby does not have any electronics to communicate with the camera. You need to set the camera to Manual exposure mode and shoot without any of the benefits of electronics (autofocus, aperture control, exposure metering, etc).

Metz flash sony nex camera

Sony NEX 6 has an ATG/Sony's Multi-Interface-Shoe.

Let's hope the Metz 58AF-2 Flash is made for Sony/Minolta, which has an old Minolta's hotshoe.

Contact Sony for the adapter.
Or just buy the Promaster Sony Multi-Ineterface Shoe Adapter, it less than Sony's.

Just got a 2x teleconveter and need instructions for install and removal

Pretend the teleconverter is a camera, and mount a lens onto it. Then treat the lens and teleconverter as a single lens, and mount that onto the body. It effectively doubles the focal length, and robs you of two stops. Depending on the teleconverter and lens, you may or may not lose autofocus and metering capabilities.

Tele converter option for Tamron 28-75mm f2.8

This is a lens for Sony/Minolta cameras. It is not compatible with the Nikon D90. Hence a Teleconverter for Nikon will not work on this lens to mount it to a Nikon D90.
