Question RE: Radio Amp Can a JBL Model # 96379-A200 amp replace original equipment amp Panasonic 96370-A100. I assume the 100 and 200 refer to wattage. The wiring harness plugs appear to be the same.

SOURCE: i need to wiring diagram for a jbl 96370-2c500

Hello steve51383,

It appears that the specific model you referenced was installed as OEM equipment in Hyundai vehicles.

I couldn't find a 2c500 model number on JBL's website, although some of their OE models were listed. Most likely they left product support up to Hyundai.

You may be able to get a wiring diagram from Hyundai or perhaps a car forum like www.newtiburon.com may have one or more members who have experience with the product and may have the wiring information.

Other than those sources, your local Hyundai dealer could probably help, but I have no idea what the cost would be.

Hope this helps.

How to connect aftermarket radio into 2002 toyota camry JBL radio (the standart wiring doesn't work). Thanks

Your aftermarket radio should have color-coded wires which identifies power, ground, speakers, etc. most depaetment stores carry a radio harness adapter kit. This will connect to your radio's exact color coded wires, and will plug right in to your factory's wiring plug. And don't forget electrical tape.

Have a PSW-D112 sub woofer that needs a new amp. Repair facility says original amp took a catastrophic power surge and it's toasted. JBL says repair parts not available. Please advise on source for...

Go to Parts Express and buy the Bash 300w digital subwoofer amp.It fits almost exact except it is one inch shorter.Just use mdf to fill the space and this amp will outperform the original.I have done this and it's not really difficult, pretty straight forward.
They usually sell for around $149,but they have sales often around $99.Good luck.

Does a Toshiba Equium A200 have a built in microphone?

Here are two different spec sheets for the A200-1V0 & A200-196. Neither one lists a "built-in mic" but both support external mics via 3/8 jack. Also there's always the possibility of using a USB mic.
A200-1V0
A200-196
Hope this helps, if so please comment, vote, etc.
Thank you.

When my jbl psw-d112 is on it will run just fine for a few min then it will sound like the speaker is blown. the green power light that is next to the vol level knob starts to turn red. What does this...

That model is known to have issues with the amps.Your problem is caused by a couple of components on the board shorting out.If you pull the amp out you will find on the large board behind the speaker terminal a couple of burned components.

The easiest fix is to buy a Bash 300w amp from Parts Express and replace the original amp.The Bash amp fits pretty well except that it is about an inch shorter. You can fill the hole with some mdf and have a sub that actually performs better than the original and with less heat build up as it is digital.Hope this helps,it's not complicated really.

No Audio

IT MAY BE A GOOD IDEA TO CHECK THE WIRES BEHIND THE HEAD UNIT AS THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING IS POWERED FROM, MAYBE A LOOSE EARTH LEAD OR MAYBE A LOOSE POWER LEAD, SOMETHING SOUNDS LOOSE.

JBL Eon 15 Blown Fuse

These fuses are most likely 3 Amp fuses. Please note that if the replacements blow as well, that there is a problem within the amp section that will require repair.

JBL PSW-D112 Speaker fuse blow immediately after replaced

The fuse is designed to protect the circuit and prevent fire. When a fuse blows it is because it is getting to much current through it.
In some cases it could be because you replaced the fuse with one that did not meet the specs of the required fuse, there are different types of fuses and you should always replace with exactly the same type of fuse.

Do not replace with a higher Amp fuse, you could end up frying the amp at least. It's not a safe thing to do since there is an off chance of fire from using the wrong fuse.

If you have the right type of fuse installed and it is still blowing, then refer the unit to a qualified service center for repair, or look for a new replacement Amp.
