The number of lights that are blinking indicate what the problem is. Visit this site to locate the type on controller on your power chair and you will be able to see that the blinking lights mean:

Try to reset your manual brake release as this is a common problem.

SOURCE: Just bought sed Jazzy Select for my wife. Chair

Yep you have a weak or bad battery. Even tho the chair looks new if they didn't take care of the batteries ie: charge regularly then the batteries went bad just sitting. I would check in your area for a battery warehouse or store that can get you 2 new batteries at a reasonable price. If there is an Interstate battery distributor or store near you the get your batteries there. Your Select uses 2 U1 batteries. Check out my tips on charging your batteries once you have the new ones put in. Hope this helps

You can visit this website to find answers on what the flashing trouble indicator lights mean: http://www.pgdt.com/scenter/diagnostics/diagvsi.html
Locate the page that has the controller used on your power chair/scooter and count how many lights are flashing to diagnose the trouble. If your insurance purchased the power chair for you, they may also cover the repairs; contact them for information.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Jazzy 1121 power chair won't go

I find a lot of the controller Problems are caused by the cable running from the joy stick down to the controller gets caught on something or rubbed against something and one or more tiny wires inside are broken ... If I find a spot on the cable that is worn through, that's where I start .. Open up the insulation and check the tiny wires .. fine the broken one and repair it .. usually that solves the problem and saves you a couple hundred for the cable

I have a Pride Jazzy Elite. When I plug into the charger both the power light and the charge light turn green. Any help?

Question edited for clarity and to add the maker.
Question moved to the correct category.

Green lights normally mean your charger is working and the battery is fully charged Leasa.

There are three flavours of Jazzy Elite, this is the manual for one of them. not very helpful on the green lights though.

Why does my chair show a full charge yet after only a half a block it will show only red flashing lite indicating needing charge.

Your batteries are nearing replacement time. They are becoming incapable of holding a full charge.

When plugged into charger both lights show green but chair not fully charged

First measure the voltage of the batteries at the charging socket of the joystick.

Jazzy charge light on chager does not come on

The red light indicates that power to the off-board charger is on. Try a different ac wall outlet that you know works. If a red or green light does not come on you will need to replace charger. Also check the condition of your batteries - dead batteries will not charge.

Replaced batteries in Jazzy 600 but they will not charge up.

doug then you could have received a bad battery or you have a charger problem or a charger circuit problem. If the chair comes on then the wiring is ok. when you plug the charger in do you have a green light and a yellow light on the charger? (when fully charged the light goes from yellow to green indicating full charge) If when you plug the charger in and you have a red and green light then there is a problem with the charging citcuit. I would contact your provider where you got the chair to have them check it out for you Hope this helps

Hello, After fully charging my mother's Jazzy power chair overnight, the rear battery indicator/pointer shows zero meaning it's fully charged. I leave it unplugged all day and then by 5pm when I check...

Sorry but it sounds like weak batteries. I would replace both batteries and after installation fully charge before use. Then ask Mom to use the chair more each day so you can charge them overnight each day for the next 20 days. It will break in the batteries and get them operating at 100%. If you can get her to use it more and charge it overnite and always put it up at full charge the batteries should last 2-3 years Hope this helps

Batteries fully charged. When traveling aprox. 300 feet full speed the batery indicator says the chair is out of power and slows to a crawl. after letting it rest for a few minutes the Indicator says...

Has your power chair been sitting unused for a while? It sounds like your batteries have become damaged and are having problems discharging the power smoothly or may not be taking a full charge.
The batteries contain a gel that needs to have current run through it on a regular basis (at least 8 hours once a week) or it will solidify. If you attach the charger, what will most likely happen is the green light will either stay green or go to green after a very short time. The charger will indicate the batteries are full, but instead of being full of power, they are full of crud. Your warranty will most likely not cover replacment as this is due to customer neglect, but your insurance may still cover the replacement if you can wait for the process to go through. Otherwise, you will need to replace the batteries on your own.
Good luck!

When charging my jazzy, do I unplug any plugs that controls my jazzy, or leave all plugged in? the reaon ask, green light will not come on the charger, which is onboard charger, unless I unplug controller...

No JJR all the plugs need to remain plugged in. On the Pride chairs the light on the charger will only come on green when the batteries are fully charged. When you unplug the controller the charger thinks the batteries are fully charged and the light comes on. Now the problem is the batteries. If they are old or you have a bad battery then the charger never senses a full charge so no green light. Hope this helps
