SOURCE: Photo Paper Feed

hi,

the issue that you have might need to change some settings from the printing properties. WHen you hit on PRINT, a box will open, right? look on the top right of that box, you will see "PROPERTIES" or "Preferences" just click on it, then another box will open. Click on Printing Shortcuts tab, try to review the settings. And if you want to print using the main tray, it should set it to Automatic select or Main tray. And make sure that it sets to General Printing. But if youre going to print a photo, you will have options there to choose what type of paper when you click on that, the settings on the paper size, paper source, etc. will change also. For paper source, make sure that it sets to Photo Tray.

If you will be able to open printing preferences, all options are there, you just need to read and choose which settings you want to use.

Thank you so much.

SOURCE: hp 1210 paper will not feed

Hi ihimc1, over time dust and paper fibres can cause the rollers to stick, which can result in the paper not feeding please take these steps below to clean the rollers.
Turn off the all-in-one.Unplug the power cord from the back.Remove the rear access door. Clean the rollers one at a time using a clean cloth that is slightly dampened with water. Rotate the roller to clean the entire surface. Verify that the three paper feed rollers on the rear access door are clean and rotate freely.
Reinstall the rear access door and then plug the power cord back in.Turn the all-in-one back on.

SOURCE: HP printer will not feed paper.

Solution Step one: Reset the product

  1. Without turning the product off, remove the power cord from the back of the product.
  2. Wait 30 seconds and then plug the power cord into the back of the product.
  3. If the product is not already on, use the On button to turn it on.
Step two: Check the condition of the paper and reload it
  1. Replace any paper that is ripped, dusty, curled, wrinkled, or bent.
NOTE: Use only plain, white, unused paper in the product until the issue is resolved.
  2. Make sure that all the paper is the same size and type. Because only one type of paper can be used in the product at a time, paper types should never be mixed.
  3. Tap the stack of paper on a flat surface to align the edges.
  4. Make sure that the stack of paper to be loaded in the product contains no fewer than 10 and no more than 25 sheets of paper.
NOTE: Do not load too much paper in the product.
  5. Insert the stack of paper into the product and gently push the paper guides snugly against the paper. Make sure that the paper is completely inserted into the product and can be picked up by the paper rollers.
  6. Try printing again. If the issue is not resolved, try loading different brands of paper and different types of paper, one type at a time, into the product and then try printing again. If the issue persists, continue with the next step.
Step three: Adjust the paper settings in the print driver The paper settings in the print driver must match the paper settings for at least one of the installed paper trays.
  1. Open a document in the program being used to print.
  2. Click File , click Print , and then click Properties . The product Properties dialog box appears.
  3. Click the Paper/Quality tab.
  4. Choose the appropriate paper size from the Size is drop-down menu.
  5. Choose the appropriate paper type from the Type is drop-down menu.
  6. Click OK and then click OK again to print the document..
  7. If the issue is not resolved, continue with the next step.

NOTE: If the issue is resolved and it is necessary to print on another type of paper, load the new paper type into the product and then repeat steps 2 through 7 for the new paper. These changes do not change the default print settings. The print settings return to the default the next time the program is opened. Step four: Clean the rollers
  1. Turn off the product and unplug the power cord.
  2. Open the access door to gain access to the rollers. Depending on the model, this is usually the rear access door. See the product user guide for information about locating the rollers.
  3. Clean the rubber rollers with a lint-free cloth, lightly moistened with water.
  4. Make sure that any paper rollers that rest on the input tray, which are located behind the back rollers, are cleaned. A clean cotton swab, lightly moistened with water, might be necessary to reach these rollers.
  5. Close the access door and plug in the power cord.
  6. Try printing again. If the issue is not resolved, continue to the next step.
Step five: Service the product call in to hp at 1800-474-6836 and ask for an upgrade on which you shall get atleast a minimum of a 50% discount on the printer cost.

HP Deskjet 960C Series error code 90020503

The error code 90020503 on an HP Deskjet 960C Series printer typically indicates a paper jam or an issue with the paper feed mechanism. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the error:
  1. Check for paper jams: Open the printer's access doors and carefully remove any jammed paper. Make sure to check all areas of the printer, including the input and output trays, as well as the rear access panel.
  2. Clear any obstructions: Look for any foreign objects or debris that may be blocking the paper path or causing the error. Gently remove any obstructions that you find.
  3. Reset the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This will perform a power cycle, which can often resolve temporary issues.
  4. Check paper condition: Ensure that the paper you are using is not wrinkled, folded, or damaged. Straighten out any curled edges and make sure the paper is properly aligned in the tray.
  5. Adjust paper guides: Verify that the paper guides in the input tray are adjusted correctly to fit the size of the paper being used. Improperly adjusted paper guides can cause paper jams or feeding issues.
  6. Clean the paper feed rollers: Over time, paper dust and debris can accumulate on the paper feed rollers, causing them to slip and result in paper feed problems. Clean the rollers using a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol.

HP deskjet 920 c crooked feed

there should be a rear panel to remove and check to see if there is any small peices of paper caught in the rollers or obstructing one side, if not the grip on the the roller is worn or the paper aligning bar is open too wide and allowing the paper to tilt. This is a more common problem with shiny surfaced paper, so try a more matt rougher quality paper.

Printer will not feed paper straight grabs one side and pulls the paper crooked and crumples the paper

When the paper does not feed straight, dirty or stickyrollers can cause it to jamb or crinkle, also failure to remove all traces ofpaper from a previous paper jamb will cause further paper jambs.
Check for tiny pieces of at the edges of the rollers, and remove these piecesof paper. The rollers may be dirty or sticky and causes the paper tonot feed straight.
Try cleaning the rollers with methylated spirits.

Paper is pulled through crooked printing is not straight. how doyou clean the rollers?

This can be caused by several factors. It could be that there's something(like small foreign objects in the paper feed area) causing the paper to get crooked. It can also be caused by improperly adjusted paper guide or the paper is not in good condition.

When I print something it does not print straight on the page. Can you help me figure out what the problem is?

Something is making the page feed crooked. Are the "fences" beside the stack of paper up against it to prevent it moving sideways? Also check that the feed rollers are clean and have good friction. Plain water on a cloth will usually clean them well enough to feed properly - just be sure the rollers are dry before you reinsert paper. Use a cloth, not a paper towel, because paper leaves fuzz behind, making the rollers slick. In more severe cases I sand rollers, then clean them, but you need to be careful not to get sanding debris all over the printer.

A sheet of paper had remain in the cylinder

  1. Remove the rear cleanout from the printer.
  2. Gently remove any jammed paper or bits of paper.
  3. Close the HP Paper Feed Cleaning Kit software on the computer.
  4. Load plain paper in the printer paper tray.
  5. Press the Power button to turn the printer off.
  6. Press the Power button to turn the printer on.
  7. Try printing again. If the printer still does not pick up paper or if a paper jam occurs again, service the printer.

Paper is loading crooked and causing a jam

Sounds like there is something that has fallen into the paper feed path. Shutdown printer, unplug power from back of printer, and remove paper. With a flashlight, inspect the area around the paper feed roller for any debris (one time I found a penny lodged on the left side of the roller) that might have fell inside path and for damage to rubber wheels. Ink can build up on rubber wheels causing the paper to misalign. This can be cleaned off with q-tips and 91% Isopropal Alcohol or Dilute. If debris is found and cleaned then reload paper into feed path, make sure paper guide tab is in position against paper source. Plug printer power back in, turn on printer and push the paper feed button. If that doesn't fix problem the only other solution is the replace the paper feed roller or buy another printer. Let me know if this fixes the problem or if you find another issue. Have a Nice Day!

Paper Jam on

most printers are pretty cheap now so replacement is always an option....on the other hand, I will spend countless hours trying to figure out what is wrong first. Remove all paper first, open printer and check for pieces of torn paper or debris, if you have a can of air you can blow out the insides to clean. Put 3 or 4 sheets of paper in, print a test page and watch carefully how paper advances...is it straight or crooked when being loaded? Is printer trying to pull more than 1 sheet at a time? Good luck
