The coffee inlets on the top of the carafe lid get plugged with residue that sneaks through the gold filter... I stopped my machine from overflowing by soaking the carafe lid in vinegar for an hour or so then rinsing thoroughly.

The two most common reasons for overflow or underflow have to do with the carafe lid and the filter basket - they key to smooth flow with this coffee maker is making sure the filter basket and carafe lid are making the proper contact with each other so that the center knob on the carafe lid pushes slightly up on the filter basket spring. Make sure the carafe lid is completely closed. Make sure the filter basket is pushed all the way down. Make sure you are not using the gold tone filter and a paper filter at the same time. For some reason, I get better results when the handle of the carafe is resting against the right side wall. If everything is in place, I would suspect a problem with either the filter basket being clogged or some problem with the carafe lid - call Cuisinart as they should be able to order these parts for you.

I have a saeco royal my machine is grinding beans but will not stop

Your question is not right.
Grinder stops on its own in 16 to 18 seconds (times out).
It may not be grinding beans an spinning free because the beans are not feeding.
You may have used oily beans or set the grind fineness at very fine powder like. This powder like fineness also clogs the grinder..
You need to clean the grinding chamber and the ground coffee outlet.

The coffee is filled and yet when it begins to grin the beans it stops and tells me to add coffee. So I giggle around the coffee dispenser and sometimes it works, but the problem is getting worse. Seems...

Are the beans very oily? Oily beans can sometimes cause things like this. My suggestion is you take out the bean hopper and clean the beans under that because on my Miele CVA4066 there are usually more than a few beans and chipped off pieces of beans under the hopper which cause some trouble.

I need to know how to clean my ge coffee maker model 169165, the clean light has been on a while and it has become significantly slower in brewing

Remove the carbon filter. Place a solution of 1/2 water, 1/2 vinegar into the machine. Hold down the cleaning button for 3 seconds. Cleaning cycles on and off for 1 hour. After complete, run 1/2 pot of fresh tap water through. Replace carbon filter with a new one. This should do it!

Coffee is leaking onto burner and spilling onto counter, yet the carafe is not leaking. The problem seems to be coming from the drip

Does the coffee seem to be overflowing the coffe maker and the running down? If so the valve where the filter is placed is not working properly. When you place the coffee pot it actuates a small arm which inurn opens a valve at the base of the filter unit. If this is the case remove the unit and correct this unit. In speaking from past experience I know this happen to our coffe maker while the unit was apart being cleaned; it was just a matter of proper reassemble.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom

Directions on how to use my Black and Decker Espresso Mio coffee maker

Be sure the red rubber gasket is in place and clean (ridge side in) and bottom water cup is screwed firmly on to avoid leaking.
HOW TO USE:
1) Fill the bottom water cup with cold water up to the inside lip.
2) Set funnel into bottom water cup
3) Fill coffee basket with expresso grind coffee and level off. (Do not tamp or pack). Make sure it's filled to the top.
4) Place filter onto coffee basket and set coffee basket into funnel
5) Place brewer over bottom water cup and screw firmly into place.
6) Place unit with lid in the center of a microwave oven set on high for 1-1/2 minutes. If boil over occurs, reduce the brew time in 10-second increments until no boil over occurs.
7) Grasp handle to remove unit from microwave when finished brewing.
8) Remove lid and check the level of espresso in the brewer cup. Standard brew is at least 2 oz. If you don't have this level brew, replace lid and microwave on high another 10 seconds. Wait 20-30 seconds for bubbling to stop.
CLEANING/ADDITIONAL BREWING:
1. Under cold running water, unscrew the bottom water cup. CAUTION: It is normal for some water to be left in the bottom water cup. Both the coffee basket and any water in the bottom water cup will be extremely hot! If you prefer, allow the unit to cool for at least 3 minutes before unscrewing it.
2) To brew additional espresso, rinse Funnel, coffee basket and filter, then repeat brewing steps 1-8 above.
3) Parts are top rack dishwasher-safe -- hand washing filter is recommended.
