Firstly, I'm not going to ask how you know what a moose in heat groans like!

secondly, more on topic ( ?? ) those sort of noises are normally either the drum bearing or belt drive. Remove the back panel and rotate drum by hand, you should be able to listen to where the fault is.

good luck with the mooses!

Testimonial: "It is the rear fan motor making the noise. The bearing is shot. I've already ordered the new fan but Im having trouble removing the fan. I removed the four fanblade screws but the motor is not coming out"

Where can I purchase the Moose MPi712a keypad?

Based on the copyright date on the cut sheet (1995), I would say your only chance is ebay or some other similar site. As far as I know, Moose has been out of business for years. http://acs.lock.hk/files/MPI-712a.pdf MOOSE MPI 712A KEYPAD CONTROL STATION

I have a brand new Avanti 1000 watt microwave. (New, out of the box). It won't heat. It makes noise like it's working, but there is no heat generated.

Take the lid off and on the side were all the components are located you could see a large transformer mounted on the bottom look at where the wires get plugged in one may not be in and hanging lose or the fuse in a white like casing come from transformer to the capacitor is blown

Not getting very cold

thermoelectric needs a good heat dissipation. Give the unit a good ventilation to dissipate the heat, you will cool the unit. The cooler the ambient, the cooler the box. Remember not to reverse the switch, you will get a heated box instead.
