If it's a mechanical machine, it probably needs deep oiling. Mine starts sounding "cranky" and that's when it needs some TLC.

Wheel on right side that controls the needle up and down is very tight...

Set you differential at 1.0 and your loopers at about 3-4 the needle thread tensions are usually around 5 to 6.
I would also suggest that you place four different color threads on machine to make it easier to adjust all. Now if you are using only 3 threads the same applies.
 Also------patience.

My Janome Finesse 234 overlocker started to stop "looping" I cleaned, oiled & re threaded. It would start of fine but then the cotton on the needle would break or the loopers will stop stitching.

Two things make sure your threading it in the right order. your upper looper first then your lower looper then your needles. If your doing that then change your needles and if your using cheap thread on an overlock it just wont sew right. You need to use a good quality thread on overlocks. Hope that helps

My janome 107/108 just stopped working and now it just drags, won't sew

If your machine is mechanical, not computerized, the chances are very good it has seized due to lack of regular cleaning/oiling. Resist the temptation to try to run the machine as it could damage the motor. Take it for service.,

I have Janome 644d overlocker. The handwheel is stuck cannot even turn it manually

How long has it been since the last professional maintenance? Could very well be that it needs a good oiling and cleaning. Mechanical machines require frequent oiling to keep them operating. Overlockers probably require more frequent oiling than sewing machines because they sew so much faster that the moving parts dry out quickly. Even though you probably oil the basic external spots of the machine, there are multiple areas that are hidden under the case that need oiling as well.

My overlocker keeps snapping the bottom thread. Why?

Hello

lower your top tension down, as it is tighter then your bobbin thread and also tighten your bobbin thread, this is done by the small screw on the bobbin holder, also you can try using the older metal bobbins these are the ones with the small holes around the top and bottom shank, but please make sure that they are the larger size bobbin, and only go very slow at first, try just in sewing mode first or just wind it over by hand.

My Janome magnolia is 3 years old. Last week I was sewing and everything jammed, needle went to side and broke. It was trying to run but couldn't. I took bobbin out and cleaned it, oiled everything, where...

Try the process of elimination. Take out the needle, take off the needle plate, take out the bobbin case. Run the machine. Does if run full speed? You might have to let the machine run for about 5 minutes. If it runs slow or you hear it slow down, you might have a bad connecting link between the needle bar and the main shaft counter weight. They seize up sometimes. (Shop Repair).

I am interested in buying a Janome 525 but want to know if it has a built in overlocker

A sewing machine and an overlocker are two completly different things, but a sewing machine is usually able to do a cover stitch. An overlocker will cut the fabric at the same time, a sewing machine cannot do this.
