SOURCE: Slime buildup in my washing machine

The slime is almost certainly the enzymes in the washing powder that are there to digest the dirt getting left behind.

3 things you can try:

  1. As a one off to help clear out the slime, throw a couple of DISHWASHER tablets into the machine and run it through the hottest cycle it has. This may help get rid of the problem, but it will of course come back.
  2. Reduce the amount of washing powder you are using and keep cutting back until you get to the point where the clothes arent getting clean (This has the advantage of cutting the cost of your powder purchases too!). This should allow the machine to more effectively purge the drum when it rinses.
  3. Finally, change your powder, if for no other reason than a test, go try a pack of NON-BIO washing powder and see if that helps. If it does, either stick with it or experiment with other powders until you find one that helps and you like.
A combination of 2 and 3 above should eventually get you where you need to be.

SOURCE: My Keurig just started only filling my mug 1/2

Have you tried following the descaling procedure given in your owner's manual? The mineral build-up from hard water can cause low flow, and since the machine pumps for a fixed time this means less water in the cup. Descaling usually brings back normal operation.

SOURCE: Coffee overflows onto the counter from time to

I believe your problem is the filter basket holder is not seated correctly or the carafe is not completely inserted in the unit to push the brew pause lever up. The brew pause feature which stops the coffee from going into the carafe when you want a cup of coffee before the brew cycle is done. When you remove the carafe a spring lever stops the coffee from dripping into the carafe. When the carafe is inserted it must push the spring lever up to allow the coffee to flow into the carafe. If it is not the coffee will overflow and make a mess. The filter basket holder should be firmly seated in the unit so it will not have any play in it. Cuisinart recommends using a vinegar and water mixture but BrewRite Cleaner (Sodium Carbonate) available in the coffee section at Wallmart, Kamart and Target is fantastic. You can clean your carafe with BrewRite Cleaner and hot water by letting it soak a few minutes and rinsing. I will also clean your filter basket holder by soaking it as well and all your coffee residue will be gone with no scrubbing.

Tassimo red light stays on ran descaling disc twice

After many months, I solved the problem of the red light staying on the Tassimo Coffee Maker. Use these easy steps.
1. Fill a 2 cup measuring cup with hot water.
2. Mix in descaler.
3. Pour in the empty water tank.
4. Put the yellow cleaning disk in the chamber and close chamber. Put the two cup measuring cup under the spout.
5. Push and hold the brew button for about 3 seconds (until the red and green light flash.
6. Now don't touch the machine. It will do it's thing for about 20 minutes. (Don't be impatient and start to push buttons, just leave it)
7. When it finishes it's cycle. The red light will turn off. Then clean the water tank and put fresh water and run clean water through the brewing cycle 4 times. Your machine is now ready for use.

Keurig b30 turn on here motor, no water comes into cup!!!! help

It takes about 3 minutes to brew. You cannot use a clear coffee mug (scensors won't detect it)

You should be able to turn it on, Then place k-cup in holder, Then close lid and water reservoir lid will pop up and you add desired amount of water. Then push lid down, place mug under spout and the blue light will light up and you push taht. Within 3 minutes you should have some coffee

Suggestion was Descaling the Coffee Maker from KitchenAid Phoebe (I'm guessing customer support)

Cleaning scale from coffee maker DO NOT USE THAT MUCH VINEGAR! Put a tiny bit of vinegar in the carafe and fill carafe the rest of the way with water. Run that vinegar/water through machine. Using another container, fill machine with plain water and run that through. Repeat until the vinegar taste is gone. If you do not run lots of plain water through the machine after, your coffee will taste like...um...disgusting! Also, use a spell-checker before improving this posting.

**************
To clean hard water deposits from a coffee maker use distilled white vinager. You may need to use as much as a gallon if the scale buildup is really bad. Fill clean coffee pot one half full of vinager and run through machine as if making coffee. Repeat this process several times using fresh vinager until it comes out clear. Do this once a week and your maker will work much better.

Thanks.

The coffeemaker reads ERR2 and will not work (model #: KCM511), what does this mean?

Manual says it's a heating element failure. You'll have to replace it. Kitchenaid may replace it if its still under the one year warranty.
