Can you run a 04 Expedition without a diode for the AC clutch

Without the diode, risk damage to sensitive electronic components.
The clutch solenoid coil is similar to ignition coil, when energyzed they build magnetic energy that when deenergyzed, the colapse of the magnetic energy or field induces a voltage spike. This voltage spike is arrested by either capacitor or diode to keep the voltage spike isolated, from sparking, from damaging other components in the circuit involved.

My dts 600 garage door opens with the remote but won't close what's the problem?

1. Your battery may be nearly dead. It has enough energy to trigger the "open" cycle but not enough to do "close."
2. Try repositioning the antenna on the opener's receiver (usually a single, insulated wire that hangs down from the unit).

Dead hitachi 443

This unit uses a DC to DC converter, and it is very sensitive to voltage spikes, it does have a fuse on the power supply and it also has 4 solid states fuses that look like transistors and resistors on the power supply board.

Can anyone advise what might be wrong with my Acer Aspire L100. We had a power cut the other night and it knocked off her computer. The unit will not restart and is completely dead. Are there any simple...

I am assuming you weren't plugged into a surge protector when you lost power. During power outages, spikes in voltage occur, so what happens is there's no mechanism to interrupt that spike by grounding, which surge protectors are designed to do. Any laptop/computer components cannot handle this voltage spike as they are delicate to certain voltage tolerances. I hate to say it, but your laptop is toast.

This is unfortunately a common problem with the console, you are eventually going to just get the three red lights and the unit will be dead. Call Microsoft now to get them to replace the unit. You can call them at 1-800-4-My-Xbox

Sony kv32f513

Hi,
First of all check the fuse, if burnt then replace it and if fuse is ok then the problem is in power supply section, First check all the capacitor along with main power supply capacitor(300v) (in larg size) if popped then replace and if ok then check STR.
One important thing that if you are not an expert then just check fuse and main capacitor and if you don't find the fault then contact any expert, don't go further.
Hope you will understand my sayings.
Thanks for using fixya.

Dead microsoft xbox

Replacing the Power supply unit, PSU, is very simple. It is about 4 screws in the system. You can pick up a replacement on ebay for $10-20. Also, a new (used) xbox is usually around $30 on craigslist. Hope this helps.
