SOURCE: My lens cover can't open and close completely.

Try this as a last resort. This blog post outlines repair procedures for a stuck lens covers. An A400 is used as an example. But for the A620, you might want to extend your zoom all the way out before removing the camera's batteries. Also you'll be applying the ring loosening rubbing alcohol along the barrel's perimeter instead of the front as shown in the procedures.:

Good luck, and remember do this only as a very last resort. Oh, and please post how it went should you decide to try the repair.

SOURCE: lens cover stuck open

I recently had the lens cover stick partly open.  There are 4 segments to the lens cover, and if we number them from the top, number 2 was not closing.
I gently flicked the segments a few times, in case there was a grain of dirt causing it to stick (although the camera has never been in a dirty or dusty environment).  This caused the lens cover to close fully each time, but now it would not open fully, segment 1 would not open, although it would stay open if moved by finger.
Anyway, after a bit of fiddling, I got it working properly again.  The way that the lens cover appears to work is that only segments 2 and 3 are pushed open or shut by springs, segments 1 and 4 are pushed open and shut by tiny tabs that catch on segments 2 and 3.  If the segments somehow get pushed out of alignment, then they either bind (causing the cover not to shut), or they get disconnected (causing the cover not to open fully.
Now I am not sure exactly what I did to get the mechanism form the stuck open state to the not opening state, but from there the way to fix it is to:
-With the lens open...
- Hold segment 2 in the closed position with firm finger pressure (which will tend to push it towards the lens).
- Push segment 1 towards the open position until you can see that it has cleared the edge of segment 2.
- Lift segment 2 way from the lens so that it will rub past segment 1 as you...
- Move segment 1 to the open position.
- Repeat if necessary to get the technique right.

I can't provide any guarantees, and I am not about to repeat the excercise on my camera, but it was a lot easier than sending it off for repair.

SOURCE: Camera doesn't recognize lens cover...

I rednecked the crap out of mine. I pulled off the slide cover and placed a small piece of paper clip in the area of the copper to make a permanent contact. Then duct taped it secure and then cover the whole slide mechanism. I would not recommend this method but it worked.

SOURCE: Lens Cover Error-Lens Cover will not open

You may have dust or some liquid blocking the cap from opening. Take a q t tip and clean cap. Use the q t tip to try to jar cap loose.

Bushnell trophy trail cam won't connect, I get a modem wont initiate error.

I hate to say it but I've had the same problem. Bushnell told me my computer system needed a newer Wifi driver. I fixed the problems by purchasing a different camera system. It works great now

Does anybody know what the focal length of the Bushnell Camera Model 119467 is or where I can find it? It doesn't seem to be in the manual. Thanks!

If you don't know the size of the sensor, what will you do with the focal length? Or do you know that part already?
The viewing angle is most of the time compared with focal length of a full frame DSLR. but what is the use of that? You can see what the camera does.

I HAVE A BUSHNELL TROPHY CAMERA, AND ONE OF THE BATTERIES LEAKED. AFTER CLEANING IT UP, IT WILL TURN ON, BUT KEEPS BEEPING AND CYCLING THROUGH THE PROGRAMMING AND WONT LET ME PROGRAM IT.

sounds like you may have scorched the connection and it's bled into the PCB, looks like you may have to get it replaced, if the batteries are at fault as in they should not have leaked then they battey firm will replace the item. check warranty terms on batts and the t/cam.
