If it is not something to do with the coupling (rubber one on the jug bottom and hard plastic one on top of the motor) then I'd be checking that the cutter shaft is not getting hot. If it was the motor playing up normally they pop into error and stop with flashing lights. The switch panels give very little trouble.

SOURCE: burning smell when used

No need to oil it. The carbon brush maybe sparking already it is located inside the motor. It is due to damaged Armature or overloaded motor.

SOURCE: Waring 34BL87 blender is loud and gives off a

3 in one oil on bottom rolling metal. let it soak in and rotate. oil again when it screeches. You do not have to disassemble the cutter. That will take a special long nose pliers. Smells burnt , it is worn out. replace parts or toss.

SOURCE: My blender had a burn smell and doesnt work could the motor be burned?

They don't make them like they used to. The smell could be the windings on the motor or it could be the control board.

I have a breville kinetic blender - not used for a while. Gives a nasty burning smell when used. Anything I can do?

Unless it is food stuck around the blender bottom , you have parts burning up inside. Its not safe to use. Check to make sure it is clean top an bottom if smell returns stop using. Could burn house down.

Wont start

If it will not turn on when cold then you are likely looking at a new motor. If there is a resettable fuse reset it.

Diishwasher not cleaning

1. Make sure your spinners are not blocked when your dishes are loaded.
2. Make sure you are using a good enzymatic cleaner like "Electrasol." This type of cleaner eats the food off of dishes and it is very effective.
3. Make sure the water is HOT when your dishwasher is running (open it during the cycle and check the temperature.
4. Lastly, consult your manual or an online manual for troubleshooting tips for your model when it appears to stop cleaning.

Burning smell

That burning smell was possibly the motor windings burning out. If the windings have burned the blender will need to be replaced. Hope this has helped you today,.......... Sea Breeze
