It won't run on Windows 98....very few machines are supported by windows 98 anymore.

SOURCE: can't figure out how to replace toner on Samsung ML-2240 printer

First remove the paper tray. The front of the printer pulls down from the top. Look at the top on the right and left side and you'll see a thin plastic finger grip. Grasp both sides at the same time and pull towards you. It will snap open. Look inside and you will see a handle on the cartridge. Pull it towards you. Open the new cartridge sealed bag and very carefully push it in. You will know when it has set in position.

Hi I have a ML-2525 and I cannot change the feeding mode from manual to tray1.

try to deinstalate the printer driver, restart the computer and instalate the driver from new.

I have tested this on a printer with the following versions:

OS Version - 1.01.00.78
Engine Version - 1.00.49
SPL Version - 5.07

I am using the original initial cartridge.

I think if you want to use a replacement cartridge, you have to disconnect CN5 and short out CN9. This way the toner will always be treated as the initial cartridge.

Refilled my starter cartridge ML-2240 and put in new reset fuse

Did you change the chip? These cartridge have a chip that tells the printer it has received it's new toner. You can get the chips cheap from a variety of sources online. Just search for samsung 2240 reset chip.
