What temperature should i have my top half fridge of my hotpoint fridge/ freezer as it is too cold and everything is freezing

A good setting is in the middle of the thermostat range. For example, if you have numbers from 1 to 9, 5 would be a good number. If this setting continues to freeze, look for a bad thermostat or temperature thermistor.

Haier minifridge freezing everything

My mini-fridge did a similar thing, until I realized that managed to put on the wrong temperature knob. It was technically backwards. They may have done this to you. I mean, it is a longshot, but try putting it on the highest setting to see if that helps. If it does not, you're most likely dealing with a faulty knob that's not actually changing the settings on the thermostat.

I have an AEG Santo 72348 ka fridge that is supposed to be self defrosting. Mine regularly freezes up inside. Any help ?

Usually this is a symptom of a faulty door seal or a very frequently opened fridge they extra moisture load from the environmental air.

I have abeko ap930 ,everything in the bottom 2 drawers in the fridge keeps freezing anyone know how to solve this?

it could be door seals ,not fitting tight all round(an air leak in the bottom seal will encorage ice to form on the floor) thermostat turned up to high(fridge temp should be plus 2 to 5c not lower or salad will freeze.
or a faulty thermostat.

Fridge keeps freezing

Can't solve your problem, but just to report we have exactly the same issue, a huge block of ice forms on the upper rear panel. The compressor seems to be running 24h, not matter where the 'thermostat' is set.

I suspect that there was/are a faulty batch of thermostats. Or (since there is no metal cooling plate to bolt it to) that the T/Stat probe has somehow come adrift from its correct sensing area and is not correctly sensing the temperature inside the fridge.

If I get to the bottom of the problem, I will re-post here.

Thermostat not working in my Santo fridge

yes
it is a requirement as they are not repairable
you have to consider the cost against lost food and the cost of anew fridge
may be possible to get a thermostat to suit from e-bay

AEG Santo Fridge 3774-6KA

Check the damper between the fridge and freezer. It may be broken or frozen open. If this happens and you have a water reservoir in the fridge then it could freeze and crack - leak and then flood your house... Shut off the water supply until you get the problem fixed.
