Read the Instruction Manual for the Universal Remote Control it should have an Auto Tune feature where you can set the code by pointing the control at the TV when on and pressing the POWER ON and SET button on the control together for 3 seconds, when the TV turns off press the TV button immediately, Good Luck

You don't need too! All you need to do is get one of these boxes and you can connect all to that one scart, plus record the freeview to your vcr. They are not expensive, I got mine from Amazon.

your options are:

1. buy a replacement multi-remote with a menu button on it and program it for your tv (the 4inone remotes are great for this task)

2. hook up a new digital tuner/converter and tune through it with its remote.

3. find another remote for your tv on ebay.

my personal choice would be #2 as that way you also get hd channels.
as well as a remote.

first thing you can do is set the antenna at the back of your tv set, and try to find the menu botton and set to the auto search program. remember if the signal is very weak it can not tune in and save the channel properly

If you can identify the exact model number of the appliance or remote you can also google for information, there may even be a picture of it somewhere or a source where you can obtain a manual.
