I need help please anyone i have no sound coming from my hp stream 11-d009tu i have uninstalled and re installed my auido drivers and still nothing

Its telling me one or more probrams not working or endpoint i have team viewer 13 if that helps

Step by step inch by inch
BT sound ok
HDMI sound ok
main sounds dead. at internal and at ext. 3.5mm line out jack dead.
that means BIOS has that chip off , so go to BIOS and turn it on
if it is on, the get the driver from HP

you have yet told the full service tag data here.
so i cant even go to hp for you and ask them can I.
so why dont you go to hp and ask them
and they will ask you for the service tag, or fails.

    learn that This PC has 3 sounds devices
    the intel GPU set does HDMI sound.
    the Bluetooth has its sound decoder
    and last the main sound chip(runs the 3.5mm jack and the internal speaker.
    guess which one is borked up?

    the reason it's dead is here.

    1: the main chip was turned off in BIOS by kids or some one.(LOOK YET?)
    2: the driver was replace with the wrong one. killing it dead. (KIDS AGAIN)
    3: or other reasons, why not ask HP real for the correct driver, and not ask here at fixya. we have no drivers here. ok?

    go to HP.com
    ask on theRE forum
    HP experts then beg for the service tag
    data.
    you fail that and you fail.
    the tag shows a nnnnnABA# number
    these codeS tell them what chips were there day 1 new.
    if Your reloaded the F11 HP recovery and are on line now, and the sound is dead.
    Id first guess that its turned off in BIOS.

    your PC can in fact have vast numbers of different mother boards, (sound ,and more.
    why even ask lacking that fact.
    for sure at HP.


    you could also.
    go in to bios and flip the reset bios to defaults and then the chip wakes up.
    It must show up in device manager and yours is missing. i see.

    I do not do house calls ever.
    im retired now, that ended 10 years ago.
    in some cases,(facts are great no?)
    HP even needs 3 numbers to match a driver.
    serial numbers in some cases.
    and again, Im not HP nor do I have access to any data bases with HP serials in it.
    I know of no non HP tech that has that secret
    why not ask HP, is your ISP blocking HP.com

    the sure i always look in BIOS first
    to make double sure the kids did not play there, and turn off the sound chip.

    kids = whomever did it for whatever reasons ever.
    on OLD PC , we make sure the RTC coin cell is good. 5-7 year life span
    if not good cell, the bios goes nuts
    even losing sound.
    time of day or date.
    and endless pain there... first things first
    RTC coin
    BIOS reset.
    make sure the sound is enabled in BIOS.
    the in windows load the HP driver from HP.
    end story.

    again it must match your service TAG data.
    unstated by you nor did you ask HP and answer the same question from them.

· The software is not able to able to communicate with the Symantec servers

No license file (*.slf) is installed
It is necessary to have a valid license file installed into the program to authorize it for the download of the content updates using Live Update.
It is necessary to register your license(s) at the Licensing Portal (https://licensing.symantec.com/) to generate the license file if it was not included with your license certificate (*.pdf).

The license file (*.slf) has expired
It is required to have a current support contract to be authorized to have the most current content updates downloaded. If you have renewed your support contract, it is necessary to register your license(s) at the Licensing Portal (https://licensing.symantec.com/) to generate the new license file if it was not included with your license certificate (*.pdf).
This could also be the case if you have a current support contract, but had a trial license key installed in the software. It is necessary to register the support contract renewal to generate the new license file.
The trial period has expired

Hi, could someone please help me with sound problems.. Today it broke down - don't know why, because nothing has been updated/installed or uninstalled.. I have searched in WEB for possible...

you might have to uninstall then reinstall either the driver or the sound devices
control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make the necessary adjustments there or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager,sound,could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers or right click select properties to either troubleshoot,uninstall,rollback driver

I installed the sound driver and can hear almost no sound

Did you un-install the original drivers before you installed the new ones?If you had installed the drivers before you un-install them,remove them and reboot.When windows comes up reinstall the drivers.

Cannot install hp4280 with vista

First, try to update your windows.

Please check the CD that came with the printer, see if the driver is version 8.0.0 from May, 2007. If its not, uninstall your current driver.
Please click here to download your driver
When installing the new drivers, make sure that your printer is turned off and not connected to your PC. Just run the installer file, and only connect and power on the Printer when the installation says to do so.

Sound driver

By default, your Notebook will be shipped either with Conexant or Realtek High Definition(HD) Audio for which you need to install the Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA)drivers before installing the Audio Drivers if you are using Windows XP.
The required Microsoft UAA Drivers which need to be installed before installing the audio drivers are available through the link below :
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp33501-34000/sp33867.exe

Save the file in the Notebook and double click it to install after the file is saved.
Restart the Notebook after the completion of installation of Microsoft UAA Drivers in the Notebook.
Now, download the Conexant High Definition audio drivers for your Notebook from the link below :
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp34001-34500/sp34200.exe

Save the file in the Notebook and double click it to install once the downlooad is completed.
This should solve the issue with installing auido drivers in your Notebook.

Alvan and The Chipmunks reside in my Gmax 2100 speakers!

If you have a sound card added on your motherboard, i suggest you uninstall the drivers, take off the sound card, attach it again and install the drivers.

If you connect your speakers through the motherboard itself, uninstall drivers and install them by searching C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers

Lost all sound

I have this same problem with my computer.  The only way I have been able to get sound back is to uninstall the drivers.  It sucks because I have to re install them everytime I use my logitech camera.  I have a HP laptop.   I hope someone has a better solution.

1.instal sp36880.exe (Intel Chipset Installation Utility for ICH8 2K_XP)
2.instal sp33867.exe (Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for HD Audio)
3.try instal sp36090.exe (Conexant High Definition Audio) but 99% with errors !!! (extract to C:\sp36090 )
4.in DEVICE MANAGER / SYSTEM DEVICES
right click on PCI DEVICE (there is yellow trouble icon), manual search "C:\sp36090" and final instal DEVICE )
5. then instal next devices :))
