SOURCE: glacier bay kitchen faucets with 2 handles and a sprayer

to be honest with you if there is a problem the glacier bay brand is from home depot and they are usualy around 20 to 30 dollars the replacement stems are usualy 15 to 40 depending on the part plus the hours ur gonna spend fixing it your better off with a full replacement. if replaced keep in mind you might want to replace the supliy lines to the faucet with stainless steal suply lines to ensure no leaks and if your shut offs are old dont touch them shut off your water main and drain down your house by opening all the faucets and shower valvs in your house then drain at the lowest point in the house weather it be a sink in the basement or an out side faucet once the supliy lines and faucet is in place then close all the faucets you opened and slowly turn on the water to your house slowly and this will ensure you dont have any leeks from your shutoffs good luck  your friendly plumber

SOURCE: moen T2113 shower faucet no hot water

You need to replace the stem. This will not cost you a dime; call MOEN and tell them the issue, with the model number, and they will send the replacement part. Many people don't know that MOEN is guaranteed for life (to the original owner)......another words, say you are the original owner :) They will not ask any questions. Good luck! PS Also works on any MOEN faucets you may have.

SOURCE: hot water comes out lukewarm

Pop out center of handle, and remove the screw from center, and remove handle. There should be a little nylon gear like sleeve that will pull out from center. Pull it out, and rotate it one way or the other, a little at a time, and slide it back in. Now just slide your handle on long enough to try it, no need to attach with screw yet until your done. May take a few tries to get it where you want it, then simply put handle back on, secure it with the screw, and snap cap back over screw.

SOURCE: When turning on the hot water on dedicated hot

Pull apart the front of the valve and there is a limiter that is set to limit hte hot water, you need to adjust that limiter. I find many valves are shipped with teh setting too cold.

Need to know steps to winterize a 2001 Thor-Citation 23-R trailer. Or schematics of key points to address.

If you don't have a hot water heater winterizing bypass kit installed, get one before going any further.
Next, drain the water out of the hot water tank. Add POTABLE (not automotive) anti freeze to the water system Run run faucets one at a time both hot and cold, toilet and shower head until you see the anti freeze . Next, shut off the water pump and open the faucets. This saves any chance of cracked water lines. When you want to use the trailer again, close the bypass valves on the hot eater tank and run the pump long enough to remove the antifreeze solution from the system. Fill the water tank and run the faucets for a few minutes. Potable antifreeze won't make you sick so there's no worry if you don't get it all out of the system.

Heater takes more than 1 minute to get water to kit faucet , then temp fluctuates

1) Guesses: Sounds like a bad single-handled faucet cartridge, or low water flow at faucet, or clogged water filter.
Replace faucet cartridge, clean the aerator, and/or clean sediment out of pipes below sink, and clean water filter at tankless unit each month.

2) For exact measure of problem:
Typical faucet can have 2 gallon per minute flow rate.
2 gpm flow rate means faucet fills 1 gallon container in 30 seconds. Test faucet using 1 gallon container and a cooking timer to get flow rate.
Clean aerator to improve flow rate. Compare kitchen flow rate with other faucets in home.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Low-hot-water-pressure.html

Most homes have 1/2" diameter pipe running to kitchen faucet.
100 feet of 1/2" diameter pipe holds 1.2 gallons of water. This assumes no sediment build-up inside pipes.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Water-heater-recirculation-system.html

Assuming only hot is turned on: If faucet is 100 feet away from water heater, and pipe diameter is unobstructed 1/2" diameter, and faucet has 2 gallon per minute water flow, then hot water should arrive in 36 seconds.
50 feet away, and hot water should arrive in 18 seconds.

If kitchen has single handled faucet, and the handle is raised in the middle, then equal amounts of hot and cold water are drawn at same time. This doubles amount of time for hot water to arrive.

If single handle faucet has a bad cartridge, then faucet can have crossover.
Crossover means that cold water can enter the faucet even if faucet is turned to hot.
Bad single-handled faucet cartridge can delay or stop the arrival of hot water.

Tankless require maintenance including cleaning combustion parts yearly, de-lime heat exchanger frequently, and clean water filter each month.

Water takes 30 sec to cover 10m from heater to tap

body { background: #FFFFFF; margin: 0px; padding: 4px; font-family: arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; } p { margin:0px; padding:0px; } .spwrap { background: transparent url(/wysiwyg_rte/misspell.gif) repeat-x scroll center bottom; } You are talking about length of time to get hot water from water heater. What diameter pipe are you talking about? What type of faucet do you have?
1/2" pipe has inside diameter of .54" and holds 1.2 gallons per 100 feet
10 meters is 32 feet and holds .4 gallons
Average faucet puts out 2 gallons per minute, so 30 seconds you should get 1 gallon of water.
Put a bucket under faucet and check amount of water flow.

Assuming you draw just hot water from the faucet, then 30 seconds is slow for receiving hot water.
If you have single-handle faucet and raise handle straight up in middle, then you are drawing half hot and half cold, so it would take 30 seconds for hot to arrive.

If hot water is slow, the problem might be crossover.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Crossover.html
or low water pressure due to clog in water line
http://waterheatertimer.org/Low-hot-water-pressure.html
Other problems could include clogged water filter, clogged water softener, defective pressure valve, and low water pressure.

I have Danze, single handle shower faucets that were professionally installed in 2005. One shower faucet has not hot water, just cold and when the handle is turned on all the way to hot, there is an itty...

Replace valve canister- no construction- just remove after taking time to shut off water- a few screws and the job takes 15 minutes. I take for granted you have good water hot/cold to the fixture. This fix will cure most temperature balance problems.
The single lever system is a EZ care system. Note the canister can malfunction faster when exposed to untreated hard water.

Hot water fills very slow(30 MIN OR MORE TO FILL) good water flow from spicket to washer, screens are clear. sewems to be something with the washer its self

Might be a bad inlet valve. To confirm, swap the hot and cold hoses to your washer so that the cold water feeds the hot water connection and the hot water feeds the cold water connection. Turn off both hot and cold water faucets. Set the washer for a warm water wash. Turn on the cold water faucet, and check the flow. Then turn off the cold water faucet, and turn on the hot water faucet and check the flow. If the cold water flow fill slowly, then the problem is with the inlet valve.

It an easy part to obtain from an appliance supply house. To install disconnect the hoses to the back of the machine, and remove the back panel to get access to the valve. Should only take a couple of minutes to remove and install. Hope this helps you.

Bath tub water doesn't stay hot

it is because the tub has a temp control valve in it so if you were to put more cold with the hot it will last longer but still won't be all the way hot,, now a days people are suing the manifacture because they are getting burned form the hot water so they put these saftey temp controls in place of the old style 2 or 3 handle faucets,, there fo no more real hot water nothing you can do outside of change to the othere type of faucet 2 or 3 handle tub shower diverter,, that why the water is hot in the sink but not the tub.....
