Instructions
Step 1 Register for a free account at the Yahoo website. Choose a user name and password. Although a Yahoo email account will be created for you, you must have a valid email account in order to get your MyWeb registration confirmation.
Step 2 Install your chosen MyWeb save option. Choose one of two methods that you can use to save pages to MyWeb. Yahoo gives Internet Explorer and Firefox users the choice of downloading the Yahoo Toolbar or adding a MyWeb button to the browser's bookmarks toolbar.
Step 3 Bookmark a cached version of any web page, not including some secure sites, by selecting "Save to MyWeb" on the toolbar or button that you installed. Add a tag to group your pages by topic. Yahoo will suggest tags based on your page's content and recommend popular MyWeb tags.
Step 4 Choose to make the bookmark private or public. The default is public, but users can change this. MyWeb provides bulk editing options that allow you to restrict access to your bookmarked pages to you only, your contacts or anyone. Change tags and delete bookmarks easily with the bulk editor too.
Step 5 Upload your stored personal bookmarks from your browser, if desired. Sort bookmarks and pages by date, title or relevance.
Step 6 Access your MyWeb account from any computer with Internet connection. Select MyWeb in your toolbar, from the Yahoo homepage or by saving a page.
Hope it Helped You

How do i set up repeat screen, like email address, on screen ?

if you are trying to save your webpages to always open to the same email that you need, I would suggest that you use the bookmarks. you can save that page to bookmark by either clicking on the star that is located in the top right hand corner of the web page or by clicking CTRL + D. This will save it to your bookmark bar. I would not recommend trying to save passwords or staying logged into your email. This can lead to someone hacking your email easily.

On my old system I could save things to "favorites" How do I do It with Chrom ?

In the same box with the webpage address, you should see a star icon. Clicking this will prompt a window asking you what to name the bookmark or "favorite." It will also give you the option of where to keep the bookmark. The default should display all your bookmarks each time you open a new tab.

How do i make bookmark folders on windows xp

Bookmarks are used in Mozilla Firefox, Opera & Google Chrome browsers. Internet Explorer uses Favorites. In Internet Explorer you just click browse to the webpage you want to save as a favorite then click Favorites, then click Add To Favorites and a popup window will appear with an option to create a new folder. In Mozilla Firefox browse to the page you want to bookmark, then click Bookmarks, then click Bookmark This Page. A popup window appears and you can select the drop down arrow next to Unsorted Bookmarks or the Gray Arrow just to the right of the unsorted bookmarks arrow. Both of these arrows are for folders and when you select either one you will see an option for a New Folder. In Opera browse to the webpage you want to bookmark, then click Opera at the top of the in the left hand corner and it will expand giving you options. Click Bookmarks, then click Bookmark Page and a popup window will appear allowing you to create a New Folder. In Google Chrome click on the wrench in the right hand corner at the top of the browser window. Then click Bookmarks, then Bookmarks Manager. When Bookmarks Manager opens you will see it has an Organize option, and when you click it you will see an Add Folder option. But the Add Folder option will be grayed out and unusable unless you highlight one of the folders already existing under the Bookmarks column.

I get the error message - This file does not have a program associated with it. this is an example of the file on my desktop that will not open now:...

That file is just a link to an Atlanta realtor's webpage and was probably saved accidentally on your desktop. You can right click on it and delete it.
A better way to save links like this is to save it as a BOOKMARK within your Internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer). If you click on the link below, the website will be displayed in your browser and then you can save it as a bookmark:

Some verions of Yahoo are now defuct, not that anyone will tell you. You need to get IE8 and open your browsing session from it.
Dont open with the old Yahoo version

1. Log onto the internet
2. Go to http://bookmarks.yahoo.com
3. Sign in with your usual email address and password
4. This will bring up a list of your bookmarks
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Tools
6. Click on "Export Bookmarks"
7. Make sure that all the bookmarks are selected
8. Below that where it say "Select Export Format" make sure it is set to for Internet Explorer and click "Export"
9. Save to the desktop
10. Open Internet Explorer
11. Then click on File, then Import
12. Select "Favourites" click Next
13. Browse to the "Bookmarks" file that should now be on your desktop and click Next
14. Your Bookmarks should now be in the favourites tab in Internet Explorer

With the new IE8 and the newest version of yahoo toolbar IM un-able to save new pages to bookmarks. when i try to save a new page my computer freezes/locks and I must shut the computer down to closes tabs....

There must be a bug in their new toolbar...  until they fix the bug, try delicious bookmarks, an free online bookmarking service that stores and protects your bookmarks online so you can access and organize them from any computer (and it has a toolbar):

Bookmark/Save a pdf document

You may need Quarkto achieve this, I print them from QuarkXpress v4.1 using "PrintToPDF". This works like a printer driver but it converts any blue, underlined Courier text to a hyperlink (e.g. http://www.The-Cool-Book-Shop.co.uk ) and it creates a "bookmark" link for any text which is set in a specific typeface (e.g. Helvetica 14pt bold) and secondary "bookmark" from any text set in another typeface (e.g. Verdana 12pt). So all I have to do is ensure that my required links are in the correct typeface then select "PrintToPDF" in the "Chooser" and the job is done!
