HOW TO RESET CANON imageRUNNER 2204 e000-0000 this edition does not have a keypad as described in one of the solutions given but it has a touchscreen!

i dont know about any counter to reset,the message is displayed when there is waste toner in the sensor window of the waste toner bottle.That window can also be cleaned.

1) on copier you have a button add. functions-something like *
2) with + or - trough the menu press OK at FAX sett. or under report sett.- If I recall its under Fax sett.
3) try to find report sett. then OK
4) you must enable the RX REPORT than OK


For transmision report you must enable TX REPORT

what you will have to do is remove the back cover.
then you will need to remove the thin metal cover laying flat cover on the back half of the copier just under the doc feeder. should be 3 screws.

then there is a metal box that holds the main controller on the right. if you open that you will see the IDE cable which will run up and out of that box and will run up under a thin metal plate that should be held in by 2 screws. if you remove those screws you should be able to see the hd .
